Race 2	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C1 - 520	NOSH IN SOCKS and CAWBOURNE SNEAKY collided soon after the start and settled at the rear. TRAVEL HAPPY was bumped and pushed wide over extra ground on the first corner and stayed at the rear throughout. CAWBOURNE SNEAKY and RED TERROR were checked and lost ground on the first corner. Race 3	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1/2 - 305	HOMEBUSH KING moved in on the first corner and checked GROOVY SHOW who went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 4	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C1 - 520	MYA FLYER was handy and sharing 2nd place on the final bend but was checked and went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 5	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C3 - 305	HOMEBUSH BREE moved away from the rail on the first corner and this resulted in checks to itself, BEE ROCCA, BIGTIME WORLD and BIGTIME DORA who all lost several lengths and they finished in the last four places. SAMS RENEGADE M.Lozell Rule 64 Suffering from a strained metatarsus and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.03.09.
Race 6	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C2/3 - 520	All clear.
Race 7	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C0d - 645	DARK FANCY was handy to the lead until the last bend but then faded quickly to finish several lengths behind the 2nd last dog. DARK FANCY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with pain in a tricep muscle. DARK FANCY D.Schofield Rule 82 Suffering from pain in a tricep muscle and stood down for 5 days to and including 27.03.09.
Race 8	THE RADIO WORKS - C4/5 - 520	MICRO BENNY was a late scratching shortly before start time when found to be suffering from a wrist inury. SILENT EPISODE was bumped twice by FANCY EEL soon after the start losing several lengths and he stayed in last place throughout the race. Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C5 - 305	One of the favourites WINSOME LIGHT began awkwardly losing ground and was then forced to race wide over extra ground on the bend and she finished in 2nd last place. SET IN STONE moved out on the first corner and checked AS FAST AS who lost ground and any chance of a placing.
Race 10	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C4 - 305	CAWBOURNE GREG moved out on the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE BESS and GUNNADOO KNIGHT who lost several lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
