Race 1	THE CLUBHOUSE CAFE & SPORTS BAR DASH - C1/2 - 375	VALUE PACK was the slowest to jump. Favourite LOONEY LEE was tightened and then dragged down from behind into the bend losing all chance and finishing last. She also came together with THERMOSTATIC on the home turn. A post race veterinary check of LOONEY LEE revealed no injury.
Race 2	TOM RODEWALD STAKES - C2 - 457	CAWBOURNE BELLE and CALM RIP came together into the turn with CALM RIP losing a couple of lengths.
Race 3	LICHFIELD RACING KENNELS DASH - C1/2 - 375	All clear.
Race 4	SHOTZ POOL LOUNGE STAKES - C1 - 457	RAGING CONQUEST came up with the lids and lost three lengths. He made ground well for third. SPINNING COMET checked off BILLY THUNDER into the bend when wide on the track and lost ground finishing at the rear.
Race 5	WAIKATO APPRECIATION SPRINT - C3 - 375	COINCIDE was slow to jump settling last. WITCH JASPER was tightened along the inside in the run to the bend and lost some ground. On the home turn SIROCCO CAM and BIG NIGHT IN came together when racing in midfield. ELITE DESTINY (SP Clark) bruising to left hind leg medial stifle area. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 28 March 2009.
Race 6	FLYBY SPRINT - C5 - 375	FANCY BEAR was keen to get off the rails into the bend and in doing so checked HOMEBUSH HOUDINI on his outer with both dogs losing ground.
Race 7	TOKOROA & DISTRICTS VETS DASH - C1 - 375	THRILLING WEB was sandwiched between THRILLING GOLD and VIREYA into the bend and lost ground. He ran on well for third.
Race 8	POCKETS 8 BALL CLUB STAKES - C1 - 457	DENNY JEWEL was slow to jump. THRILLING CHASE, KAIMAI ROYALE and TEE KAY GIRL all came together in the run down the back straight.
Race 9	SOUTH WAIKATO CUP - C5 - 457	TRENDY SON was checked into the bend and lost ground drifting to the rear. AWESOME VOYAGE (W Steele) sprained toe. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 29 March 2009. APPOINTED THYME (DD Schofield) sprained toe. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 30 March 2009.
Race 10	COMMITTEE STAKES - C4/5 - 457	All clear. FANCY SHELLY (DD Schofield) starter in Race 9 SPRING ADMIRAL (P&L Henley) starter in Race 9 MR CLONTARF (D Edlin) withdrawn under Rule 63.10. No penalty. BORN ENTERTAINER (LP & LC Joyce) failed to be presented on course and late scratching at 4.05pm. Under Rule 64.5. the Stewards reconsidered the penalty after a written submission from the trainer and determined that the dog would not have a stand down imposed.
