Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C1 - 305	JENNIMORE ran out on the first corner and caused checks to HOMEBUSH BEX, RUNAWAY ROSCO and MAGNIFICENT who all lost ground and they finished in the last three places.
Race 2	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 305	Soon after the start YES MISS came out onto SUPERIOR BLACK as BIGTIME TITLE came in and SUPERIOR BLACK was checked losing a couple of lengths. On entering the first turn SEDGEBROOK SKY raced onto the heels of SUPERIOR BLACK and this resulted in him losing more ground and he finished in last place.
Race 3	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1 - 520	LISSADELL SAM and HONEY BOUND collided soon after the start and settled at the rear. They both ran wide on the first bend losing further ground and they finished in the last two places. SERIOUS CHARGE Ex Wanganui on 18.03.09
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C2/3 - 305	PHANTOM FOG was slow to begin and then ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5	VITA POWER - C2/3 - 305	SHARIMORE and GO BEN GO jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and GO BEN GO was badly checked and struck the rail losing several lengths. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a toe injury in front. GO BEN GO D.Macauley Rule 82 Checked and struck the rail and suffered a toe injury requiring a 28 day stand down to and including 09.04.09.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C2/3 - 520	All clear. PAYTON BALE L.D.Bell Rule 82 Suffering from lameness in the right front leg and stood down for 10 days to and including 29.03.09.
Race 7	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C4 - 305	GUNNADOO KNIGHT ran in from the start and caused checks to HUTT PARK LASS, CAWBOURNE WHIZ, CAWBOURNE GREG and CAB DRIVER who all lost ground and they never recovered and finished in the last four places.
Race 8	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C4/5 - 520	The favourite MICRO BENNY raced disappointingly and finished in 6th place. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but the Kennel representative reported that MICRO BENNY had not travelled to the meeting as well as usual.
Race 9	WANGANUI SECURTIY SERVICES - C5 - 305	RYMOR REASON stumbled out of the boxes losing several lengths and all chance and he finished well back in 2nd last place. THRILLING GAME Ex Waikato on 19.03.09
Race 10	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C2 - 305	LITTLE LADY BLUE ran in from the start and checked CRYSTAL SAL and HEIST who both lost ground. CRYSTAL SAL recovered to finish 2nd but HEIST stayed back to finish in 6th place.
