BIG HONEY N Clark Injury to muscles lumbar region dog presented vet cert supplied Rule 64.12.7 days stand down to and including 14.03.09. THRILLING LARK never recovered from this and finished in last place at the line----------. |
| Race 4 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C1 - 375 | PORT OF SPARTA was slow away and never got in to the race from there on in and finished a poor last at the line PORT OF SPARTA was sent for a vet check and a injury to the right quadriceps muscle was detected , and a 21 days stand down was imposed. Racing in to the first turn SARAHS POWER was held up for some distance in trying to avoid the heels of BIGTIME PAL THRILLING SIOUX I George 100 km Rule 63.10. | Race 6 | COMPANY BRANDING SHOP, LEVIN - C3 - 375 | BEARLY MOVIN and WHATA BOWLER jostled for some distance as they made their way down to the first turn. ADDIS JAY (fav) got on the heels of THRILLING ZARA on the top bend and could not get a clear run until in to the home straight and finished in 4th position at the line----------. | Race 7 | DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C5 - 375 | Soon after the start BLACK TIE came across on to AUSTIN and DANDALOO BLUE ,causing AUSTIN to be squeezed back to the rear As the field raced down to the first turn KING'S CONQUEST came across looking to get to the rail and caused severe tightning to COOL AUSSIE, and BLACK TIE this resulted in COOL AUSSIE clipping the heels of KINGS CONQUEST and stumbling which AUSTIN and TRIAL BAY could not avoid and AUSTIN fell at that point. AUSTIN recovered his feet and finished some distance behind the field at the line AUSTIN and COOL AUSSIE were both sent for vet checks and no abnormalities were found, no stand downs required . |
| Race 8 | FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C2/3 - 457 | CAWBOURNE CROWN was slow away BUNNY'S REWARD (fav) got awkwardly away from the boxes and was then squeezed up by GROOVIN'BAIN and didn't show her normal pace and was tightned a bit more going in to the first turn then ran on in to 3rd position at the line |
| Race 9 | OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C4/5 - 457 | This race was delayed three minutes at the request of the TAB There was no head on coverage of this race As the field raced across the top bend NELLY JEAN was checked back from between SHIFTY DOONS and WHERE'S WHIZ and went back through the field to the rear and never recovered from there on in to finish in last position at the line . |
| Race 10 | BILL BOYD AND ASSOCIATES - C4 - 375 | As the field raced down to the first turn RYMOR REASON had got to the front and was attempting to cross to the rail ,FANCY ALEX almost ran up on the back of RYMOR REASON and over reacted running out towards the outside fence taking GUNNADOO KNIGHT with him The other dogs around this all suffered checks and lost ground at this point GUNNADOO KNIGHT and FANCY ALEX were extremly lucky that they were able to miss running into the fence , they recovered to rejoin the race at the top of the home straight but filled the last two positions at the post. RYMOR REASON was the only dog who was not affected by this incident and was able to get away from the field at this point and hang on to win . |
