Following the race MISS JALOUX was subject to a veterinary check which revealed an old stopper pad cut had reopened and a 14 day stand down was recommended. In the run to the turn GROOVE ARMADA ran inwards and came into contact with GEMMA'S COUNTRY who went back and lost all chances. On the turn PARUMBA TIGER moved outwards and checked BOTOX BARBIE who received a further check off the rear of GROOVE ARMADA into the home straight and finished last. |

KAIAPOI FIRST regained her feet to finish a distant last and was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed lameness to the left front leg and spike wound with a 7 day stand down recommended. In the run to the first turn OSWALD BOATENG and WHO'S SHIFTY came together several times, then WHO'S SHIFTY lost all chances on the first turn when struck by OSWALD BOATENG and forced sideways. | Race 16 | POWER FARMING LTD DASH - C3 - 295 | LINCOLN BRAND was very slow to jump. In the run to the turn HOMEBUSH MATE was tightened and went back on a trailing LINCOLN BRAND. Then into the turn HOMEBUSH MATE ran outwards and collided with LINCOLN BRAND with both dogs falling and losing all chances to finish at the rear. As the dogs came together WORLD WARNING was forced wide on the track and finished back in 6th place. LINCOLN BRAND and HOMEBUSH MATE were subject to post race veterinary checks with no injury to LINCOLN BRAND but HOMEBUSH had muscle soreness in the right shoulder with a 14 day stand down recommended.
