Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 305	Tightening from the outside in the race to the first corner resulted in severe checks to PRIVATE SHOWING who struck the rail and also to THRILLING DOLL, THRILLING SHADZ and HOMEBUSH LOYAL. PRIVATE SHOWING and HOMEBUSH LOYAL were both examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	MORRIE GIBBON SIGNS - C1 - 305	THRILLING TIM and THRILLING HONEY jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and THRILLING TIM dropped back to finish several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. THRILLING HONEY recovered to finish well for 3rd place
Race 3	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 520	KING BOND was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he finished in 2nd last place. STAR SEEKER and GLAZE bumped together on the first corner and GLAZE fell and STAR SEEKER lost several lengths and all chance. GLAZE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with bruising. GLAZE C & W Morris Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered bruising and was dazed and stood down for 7 days to and including 08.03.09
Race 4	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C1 - 305	RUNAWAY ROSCO was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he then ran wide on the bend and finished in last place. One of the favourites THRILLING DEE was handy in 3rd place starting the bend but was checked losing 5 lengths and she never recovered and finished in 6th place.
Race 5	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C3/4 - 305	RYMOR REASON began a little awkwardly and was then checked on the first corner and finished in 7th place.
Race 6	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C3 - 305	BAILEYS DREAM was slow to begin but recovered to finish in 3rd place. SIMON moved out on the first corner and checked SCISSOR SISTERS who lost four lengths and all chance of a placing. BIGTIME WORLD Ex Wanganui on 27.02.09
Race 7	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C2/3 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C1/2 - 305	THRILLING TASHA went up with the box lids losing 4 lengths and she tailed the field throughout. WINSOME DOLL galloped on the heels of HOMEBUSH VIEW on the bend and lost three lengths and the chance of a dividend placing and she finished in 4th place.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520	THRILLING FEVER and ANDY D'GANDY were checked soon after the start and settled at the rear. THRILLING FEVER was checked again entering the home straight and she finished in 2nd last place. CYCLONE TRAVIS D.Donlon Rule 64 Suffered skinned pads and stood down for 14 days to and including 15.03.09.
Race 10	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C1/2 - 305	The favourite CALYPSO RUMBLE was handy to the first corner but was checked losing ground. She then recovered to finish in 3rd place. CAWBOURNE FELLA and HOMEBUSH TERRA were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they stayed there to the finish. The 2nd placed dog BIGTIME COOL turned its head in towards the winner just short of the winning post and was sent for a Vets examination which revealed a spike wound and mild muscle soreness which required a 5 day stand down. However, BIGTIME COOL was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is required to trial under Rule 81.1 BIG DAPTO K.Jackson Rule 64 Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 28 days to and including 28.03.09. BIGTIME COOL M.Goodwin Rule 80.1 b Failed to pursue the lure throughout and stood down for 28 days to and including 29.03.09. Also required to trial under Rule 81.1.
