THRILLING ANGEL was pushed in on the first corner and checked THRILLING CHANT with both dogs losing several lengths and they finished at the rear.

Race 4	DOGS VICTORIA BUSHFIRE APPEAL - WWW.DOGSVICTORIA.ORG.AU - C1 - 457	SERIOUS CHARGE moved out on the first corner and checked THRILLING TEX who lost ground but recovered to finish well for 2nd place. FLOATING AWAY had to ease soon after the start as outside runners moved in. FLOATING AWAY and JACKALICIOUS collided on the first corner and lost ground and they finished at the rear.

Race 6	RSPCA VICTORIA BUSHFIRE APPEAL - WWW.RSPCAVIC.ORG.AU - C2/3 - 375	THRILLING MAGIC was tightened between runners on the first corner and lost ground and then ran wide on the bend and finished in 2nd last place. Race 8	VICTORIA THE PHOENIX - C2/3 - 457	ROUGH 'EM UP was a little slow to begin and then received a slight check on the first corner. Soon after, FANCY ALEX clipped the heels of TEDDY NOVA who dropped back onto ROUGH 'EM UP and MAXWELL COOL and they lost ground and finished in the last two places. Race 9	NZ RED CROSS BUSHFIRE APPEAL - WWW.REDCROSS.ORG.NZ - C5 - 375	DANDALOO BLUE was checked on the first corner losing four lengths and all chance of a placing. BACK DRAUGHT was checked and almost fell on the bend losing several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 10	NZ SALVATION ARMY BUSHFIRE APPEAL - PH 0800-530000 - C4 - 375	FANCY EEL ran in soon after the start and checked WINSOME CHANCE who lost ground and dropped back onto REWIRED. CHARLI'S ECHO moved out on the first corner and collided with JIMMY HALL who lost ground and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE WHIZ Brewer & Gilbert Rule 64 Suffering from a supraspinatis muscle injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 20.02.09 AGENT VICKI L.Bliek Ex Auckland on 15.02.09.
