Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 520	PERFECT CREEK and GENISTA ROCKET jostled together for a few strides with a circuit to run and PERFECT CREEK was then checked again on the first bend, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. GENISTA ROCKET was handy in 3rd place near the home turn but was checked losing momentum and finished in 6th place.
Race 2	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 305	CRYSTAL HISTORY led to the first corner but then ran out causing checks to ZETA JONES, BIGTIME WORLD, THRILLING GYPSY and BLUE CHIP VIRUS and they all lost ground and any chance of a placing. BIGTIME WORLD suffered a dew claw injury and was stood down for 10 days. BIGTIME WORLD L.Ahern Rule 82 Checked during the running and suffered a dew claw injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 22.02.09.
Race 3	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1/2 - 305	BITTA ZIP scrambled from the boxes losing ground but ran on well for 4th placing. THRILLING DUTCH galloped on the back of BIGTIME SADDAM on the bend and BIGTIME SADDAM lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C1 - 520	LIFE BECKONS who drew box 7 raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 5th place. LIFE BECKONS suffered a minor stopper pad injury and was stood down for 5 days. LIFE BECKONS B.Cole Rule 82 Suffered a slight stopper pad injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 17.02.09.
Race 5	VITA POWER - C3/4 - 520	KIMMY'S DIVA ran out from the start and pushed CAWBOURNE WILKO out simultaneously as BROCKMAN LAD moved in and this resulted in BROCKMAN LAD being checked back to the rear but he recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C5 - 520	FAST GROOVY ran into the back of WINSOME BLITZ on the first corner and they lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 7	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C1d - 645	FELIX STAR was 2nd going into the first corner but broke down and failed to finish. FELIX STAR was found to have suffered a fractured hock and was euthanased. LISA SHIRAZ G & S Hayden Holmes Rule 64 Suffering from a nail bed infection and stood down for 5 days to and including 17.02.09 KARAKA ASSASSIN C.Clark Rule 63.10 Distance from track rule. FELIX STAR B.Cole Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and was euthanased.
Race 8	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C5 - 305	CAWBOURNE KYLIE was handy to the first corner but was observed to falter and drifted back and then broke down entering the home straight. CAWBOURNE KYLIE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a fractured hock. When CAWBOURNE KYLIE drifted back, STAR CONQUEST and BACK DRAUGHT were hindered and they finished well back. CAWBOURNE KYLIE Brewer & Gilbert Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and stood down for 42 days to and including 23.04.09.
Race 9	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C4 - 305	RYMOR REASON moved out slightly on the first corner and this caused checks to CAWBOURNE WHIZ and SOLID HAND but they were at the rear at the time and stayed there to the finish.
Race 10	SEE YOU @ THE RED - C1/2 - 305	CALYPSO RUMBLE was tightened between runners on the first corner and dropped back onto PHANTOM FOG and they never recovered and finished at the rear.
