Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 305	PEGSONE began brilliantly and led by four lengths on the first corner but then ran very wide on the bend and dropped out to finish in 3rd last place. PEGSONE appeared to be not galloping correctly over the final stages and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with pain in quadricep muscle. THRILLING ASTI moved out on the first corner and checked HEY GHANDI who dropped back and then collided with HOMEBUSH LOYAL and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places. CALM SUZIE P.Clark Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from pain in a paw and stood down for 7 days to and including 17.02.09. PEGSONE G.Holswich Rule 82 Suffering from pain in a quadricep muscle and stood down for 5 days to and including 15.02.09
Race 2	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 520	One of the favourites THRILLING MOSS was slow to begin losing ground but ran on well for 4th place. KARAKA ASSASSIN was checked on the first corner and dropped out to last and he stayed there to the finish.
Race 3	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C0 - 305	THRILLING DEE ran in soon after the start and tightened several runners drawn further in with HEY MARILYN the most affected and she dropped back and checked TYPHOON BOBO. Soon after DOLLY BREEN and ROUGH ENFORCER bumped together losing ground and they finished well back.
Race 4	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C1 - 520	RED TERROR was checked on the first corner and was pushed out causing checks to FLOATING AWAY and CHIVAS REGAL who were pushed wide on the bend and lost ground.
Race 5	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C1 - 305	BRANDY AFFAIR ran out slightly from the start and checked BIGTIME TITLE who went back to last and stayed there to the finish. Soon after, RANUI ran in from box 8 and tightened several inside runners with HOMEBUSH JAZZ and THRILLING HONEY the most affected.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - SPECAf - 520	ANDY D'GANDY was slow to begin and was in last place on the first corner and only made a little ground to finish in 3rd last place. SUZY MAC ran out soon after the start and collided with THRILLING TIFF and they both lost ground. SMART SHARMILA was handy around the first bend but then had to check over the heels of SHINE FOR US and lost ground.
Race 7	WANAGNUI SECURITY SERVICES - C1/2 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 305	ALL ABOUT MILLY ran in from the start and checked HEIST, DANCING TESSA, BIGTIME ACTION, LARRISSA LYN and PISTOL LARRY who all lost ground and settled well back and stayed there apart from HEIST who finished in 3rd place.
Race 9	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C1 - 305	TAKE COVER and HOMEBUSH TERRA bumped together for several strides in the run to the first corner and then dropped out to the rear and stayed there to the finish. THRILLING TURN Udy & McCracken Rule 82 Suffering from pain in a foreleg and stood down for 7 days to and including 17.02.09.
Race 10	THE RADIO WORKS - C1 - 305	TIGER INDY WOODS, SEDGEBROOK SKY and GOOGLE MAGOO were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and finished in the last three places.
