Race 1	GET A $6 SCOOP NOW ... - C0 - 375	UNO I'M QUICK was checked and lost several lengths on the first corner and tailed the field to the finish. RAT INDEED Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64.10 In season and stood down for 28 days to and including 20.02.09.
Race 2	MANAWATU NISSAN TIIDA SPRINT - C1 - 375	WINSOME DELUXE and MADAM KEISHA were slow to begin and settled at the rear. FLASH ENFORCER, FLIRTATIOUS WINK and AGENT BOND were handy on the first turn but were checked and lost ground.
Race 3	MANAWATU 92.2 MORE FM SPRINT - C1 - 375	All clear. LESHITA Gained a start in race 4. FIND PEDRO Brewer & Gilbert Rule 64 Suffering from lacerations to a leg and stood down for 28 days to and including 20.02.09. Vet certificate to be supplied. THRILLING HOLLY S.Gommans Rule 82 Suffered a pad injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 29.01.09.
Race 4	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 375	The favourite GOOD STUDENT was one of the slowest away and then bumped with CAWBOURNE CROWN on the bend and lost some momentum and he only battled from there to finish in 5th place. BLASTING POINT B.Goldsack Rule 64.10 In season and stood down for 28 days to and including 18.01.09. The Trainer advised that BLASTING POINT is now retired. HITMAN FRED P.Lowen Rule 63.10 Scratched under 100 kilometre rule.
Race 5	SPRINGFRESH WATER SPRINT FINAL - C2f - 375	CAWBOURNE WILKO ran in from the start and checked CAWBOURNE FELLA and FLY WITH ACTION who lost ground. CAWBOURNE WILKO continued in and severely checked SHE ROCKS who fell and DEL TONES who lost several lengths. SHE ROCKS was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	KERB & CONCRETE SPRINT FINAL - C4f - 375	HUTT PARK FLYER moved in on the first corner and checked BACK DRAUGHT, CENTRAL RAIDER and MUMMA DOONS who was pushed in and made contact with the rail. BACK DRAUGHT recovered to finish 4th but MUMMA DOONS and CENTRAL RAIDER finished at the rear.
Race 7	AP1 METROLOGY PALMERSTON NORTH - C3 - 375	All clear.
Race 8	MANAWATU - YOUNG HEART EASY LIVING SPRINT - C5 - 375	COMMANDER LEE was slow to begin and lost four lengths and he tailed the field throughout and finished in last place. FANCY BEAR D.Schofield Rule 82 Suffered a cut hock and stood down for 14 days to and including 07.02.09.
Race 9	THRILLING KENNELS RESTRICTED AGE MIDDLE DISTANCE - R/A - 457	GUNNADOO DREAMS moved across from the start and caused checks to WINSOME JESS, NELLY JEAN, CAWBOURNE KYLIE and LADY PEDRO with the last two mentioned dogs being the most affected. LADY PEDRO, CAWBOURNE KYLIE and WINSOME JESS were again checked on the first turn and they lost all chance and finished in the last three places.
Race 10	SUMMER FESTIVAL - HOLIDAY FUN AT THE RACES - C1/2 - 457	THRILLING SUNNY was very slow to begin and lost five lengths and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. KAI MOANA checked off the heels of FANCY KATE starting on the bend and dropped out to last and finished in that position. BIGTIME PAL B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a quadricep muscle injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 31.01.09.
