Judicial report: Weather: fine Mr P.Lowen the trainer of Terror Jim in race no 12 was given a first and final warning under the provisions of Rule 88 (1) (x) for his actions just prior to the start of race no 12.
Mr L.C.Jensen the trainer of Trial Bay was also spoken to advisedly regarding standing at the side of the boxes prior to the start of race No 12
An inquiry was opened under the provisions of rule 38 (3) (a) into an alleged breach of Rule 88(1) (f) by the Starter at this meeting. This inquiry was adjourned Sine Die

Race 1	LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY FIRST 4 - C1 - 527	Suzie The Fluzy and Denny Jewel were the slowest to begin. Suzie The Fuzy was observed to stand in the boxes. As the field raced into the first turn Shy Neena ran out and contacted Satsuma forcing this runner onto Denny Jewel all three of these runners were checked in this incident. The post race swab on Thrilling Chase was abandoned on Vets Advice when this greyhound vomited in the Swab kennel.
Race 2	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - C0 - 318	Thrilling Cam ran inwards after the start taking the line of Thrilling Tim. Caribbean Ebony ran inwards after the start to the rail and in doing so checked itself, Kiwi Maid , Onset , Dad's Gift and Homebush Tui.A post race vet check on Dad's Gift showed no abnormalities.
Race 3	CATCH RESTAURANT SPRINT - C0 - 318	Thrilling Iris and Thrilling Doll were the slowest to begin. After the start Cawbourne Botros ran inwards and contacted Abigail's Party with both of these runners being checked. Into the first bend and Thrilling Iris ran out forcing Psychotic onto Looney Magic, Abigail's Party and Cawbourne Botros with all of these runners being severely checked in this incident. Abigail's Party fell in this incident and a post race vet check revealed no injury.
Race 4	TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT - C2/3 - 318	Miss Amy Dry ran out slightly after the start and contacted Devil's County for a stride. Both of these runners were checked in this incident. Into the first bend Lauretana Boy and Miss Amy Dry came together and were jostling around this turn.
Race 5	RODEWALD, HART & BROWN FIRST 4 - C5 - 318	Ashbourne Falcon was the slowest to begin. Winsome Light ran out after the start and Cawbourne Cathy ran inwards with Winsome Jess having to check back after this tightning. Into the first turn Winsome Jess attempted to get a run between Winsome Light and Longford Annie and was checked to the rear.Ashbourne Falcon ran very wide throughout this race.
Race 6	TROPHIES PLUS STAKES - C0 - 527	Slow to begin were Spinning Comet, Starshine Girl, Roll Up and Thrilling Idol. Roll Up went up with the lids and then went down on it's nose after the start.
Race 7	THE BROWNZY SPORTS BAR SPRINT - C2 - 318	Dream Seeker ran out after the start contacting Black Book and Graduated Class What Shiraz cut down to the rail into the bend out of the back straight and checked Graduated Class which fell. Black Book , Dream Seeker and Zambora Man, all came together around the bend and were tightened . Black Book fell after the finish.Graduated Class was post race Vet checked and found to have an injury requiring a 10 day stand down. Black Book was also sent for a post race Vet check however the trainer did not present this greyhound to the vet. Graduated Class ( G.R.Farrell) R.Fore Accessary carpal Ligament sprain. Rule 82.1. 10 days to and including 24-01-09
Race 8	CAROL'S TABS SPRINT - C1 - 318	India Blue and Catch The Breeze were the slowest to begin. National Debt ran inwards after the start forcing Homebush View onto Catch The Breeze and Sergeant Scream with these runners being checked in this incident. Mumble Jumble (W.Steele) Left Fore digit 4&5 web injury (skin tear) Dog presented . Rule 64 -12. 10 days to and including 23-01-09
Race 9	SUMMER FESTIVAL MEETING HERE SUNDAY - C1/2 - 527	Julie's Lady, Park Red, Ultra Magnus and Kaimai Royale were the slowest to begin. Park Red crossed the heels of Fancy Kate and ran wide into the first turn. Both these runners were checked in this incident Total Inferno (P.W.Cleaver) Diarhoea Dog presented Rule 64.12. 3 days to and including 17-01-09
Race 10	NEW ZEALAND COMMUNITY TRUST SPRINT - C1 - 318	Homebush King and Thrilling Jim were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Virus and Tee Kay Girl came together after the start and were both checked for a stride. Into the home straight Thrilling Virus and Big Archie came together for a stride. Thrilling Amy ( G.M.Hunt) Left Varturius Muscle injury. Rule 68.26. 7 days to and including 21 -01-09 Late Scratching.
Race 11	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Lobby Lloyd jumped well then ran inwards contacting Yambla Jack forcing this runner onto Thank You Jim. Thank You Jim also ran out slightly. Yambla Jack and Young Daddy came together for a stride into the first turn. Into the back straight Young Daddy climed on the hindquaters of Yambla Jack with both of these runners being checked and both finishing at the rear .
Race 12	THE ALAMO BAR & TAB SPRINT - C4 - 318	Dellacqua and Crowded House were the slowest to begin. After the start Fast Stass ran inwards checking itself and forcing Dellacqua onto Ensign with both of these runners checked at this point. Terror Jim and Ensign came together after the start. Moon Dancer ran out as the field swung for home checking both Rialto Mission and Dellacqua for a stride.
