Judicial report: Weather: fine Trainer Mr Cox had trouble when boxing his dog in race one , the starter took over from him and boxed the dog
Due to Mr Cox not being able to handle the dog ,he has been advised by the stewards to get another handler on racedays and he is accepting of this
After the running of race one Mr Cox trainer of TALKABOUT BLISS was spoken to by the stewards as to the general fitness of the dog due to its poor performance
After disccusions with him the stewards have stood the dog down under Rule 81.1 to under go and pass a trial or trials under the supervision of the stewards.
Trainer Ms D Crump was spoken to in relation the the performance of CAWBOURNE WAY in race three
After discussions with the trainer the dog has been stood down under rule 81.1 to under go and pass a trial or trials under the supervision of the stewards
A enquiry has been opened and adjourned under Rule 111.--in to the care and training of CAWBOURNE WAY--and any other registered greyhounds that are in her kennels
CAWBOURNE CROWN completed a re qualifying trial to the satisfaction of the stewards
THRILLING BETH was stood down under Rule 72.13. to under go and pass a box trial under raceday conditions to the satisfaction of the stewards.

Race 1	GEON WELLINGTON DASH - C0 - 375	FLASHFIRE COAL stumbled out of the boxes as he had his head down when the lids opened FIND PEDRO (fav) and POWER OF ZEN came together at the start and lost a couple of lengths As the field raced in to the first turn FIND PEDRO came across to the rail and caused tightning to POWER OF ZEN and FLASHFIRE COAL resulting in these three dogs losing ground at that point FIND PEDRO made up good ground late to finish in 2nd placing at the post TALKABOUT BLISS was slow away from the boxes and never got in to contention throughout the race finishing some lengths behind the field at the line. A vet check was ordred on TALKABOUT BLISS and no abnormalities were found The trainer Mr Cox was spoken to in regard to the dogs general fitness and condition as was advised that the dog would be stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial or trials in the presence of a stipendiary steward before being to race again RAT INDEED Ex Wanganui 3.12.08 TALKABOUT BLISS K Cox unsatisfactory performance Rule 81.1 to under go a satisfactory trial or trials to the satisfaction of the stewards
Race 2	DECOART PRINTED PRODUCTS, LEVIN - C0 - 457	PACK AND GUNS was slow away costing him a few lengths at the start As the field raced in to the first turn there was tightning between several runners as PACK AND GUNS came out off the rail and got on the heels of BUNNYS REWARD (fav) , then ran up on the back of TAILS OFF, HE'S A STUNNER in trying to avoid these dogs caught the heels of TAILS OFF and fell HE'S A STUNNER recovered his feet to finish some distance behind the the field and was given a vet examination were no abnormalities where found BUNNYS REWARD made up good ground after the interference and finished in 4th position at the line, he was given a vet examination as a precaution and was found to have suffered a muscle injury requiring a 5 days stand down . Race 3	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS SPRINT - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE WAY was slow out of the boxes and never took part in the race finishing at the rear of the field CAWBOURNE WAY was sent for a veterinary examination where a triceps injury was detected and a 14 days stand down was imposed The trainer was spoken to in regards to the general fitness and condition of the dog and due to some concerns the dog has been stood down to under go a satisfactory trial or trials in the presence of a stipendiary steward before being eligable to race again . CAWBOURNE WAY D Crump injury to right triceps muscle Rule 82.1. 14 days stand down to and including 21.12.08. Rule 81.1 to under go a trial or trials to the satisfaction of the stewards
Race 4	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 375	As the field turned in to the home straight TUI THUNDER and THRILLING CHARM came together ,resulting in both dogs being put off stride where they lost a couple of lengths each.--------. WAIMAK PAT Udy & McCracken right triceps injury Rule 64.12. 14 days stand down to and including 20.12.08 .
Race 5	OROUA DOWNS TANNERY - C2 - 375	As the field came away from the boxes there was jostling for a few strides between BRITNEY BEERS,CAWBOURNE WILKO and LESHITA THRILLING BETH turned in the boxes and was facing backwards when the lids went up and she never took any part in the race The trainer realised this as the field had got under way and was able to take the dog out of the back of the boxes thereby saving the situation of a loose dog on the track THRILLING BETH has been stood down to undergo and pass a box trial under raceday conditions with at least two other dogs in the presence of the stipendiary stewards--------. FLIRTATIOUS WINK Ex Wanganui 3.12.08 THRILLING BETH Udy &McCracken. turned in boxes Rule 72.13. stood down until completion of a box trial under raceday conditions
Race 6	KERB & CONCRETE SPRINT FINAL - C3f - 375	As the raced in to the first turn CAWBOURNE WHIZ ran out wide and caused THRILLING ZARA to race wide across the top bend and may have cost them in finishing closer----------.

Race 8	THRILLING KENNELS SPRINT - C5 - 375	All clear
Race 9	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C4/5 - 457	Soon after the start SALVADOR came out as JIMMY HALL came across and JUDDY was squeezed back to the rear As the field raced in to the first turn the dogs were racing in tight quarters resulting in DADDY,coming out on to JUDDY and DELLACQUA causing them to race wide across the top bend THRILLING HUGO who was in behind these dogs was shuffled back losing ground ,but was able to make a sustained run to just get up and win on the line . LAGOON FIFI B Cole parynachia digit 5 dog presented Rule 64.12.5 days stand down to and including 11.12.08 PORCELAIN GIRL L J Ahern traumatic avucson of fore claw on digit 1of left fore dog presented Rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 17.12.08.
Race 10	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES HERE WEDNESDAY - C1 - 457	TIZZY LEE BUCKET and FLOATING AWAY came together at the start JIMMY THUNDER and KIWISAVER came together on the home turn , putting them both off stride and they filled the last two positions at the line----------. DEBBIE BLUEFIRE G Clarke cut on pad dog presented Rule 64.12 10 days stand down to and including 13.12.08. LAGOON GROVE B Cole split webbing right hind dog presented Rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 16.12.08.
