Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer NP Green was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when CYCLONE HOOLEY weighed in at 32.2 kgs which was 1.2 kgs under his last race weight on 16 November 2008.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned under Rule 38.1.b. into an incident in the carpark at the conclusion of the races.

Race 1 GUADA FIESTA BAR STAKE - C0 - 527 BRATPACK SALLY was checked as THRILLING BRIT crossed it into the first bend. BRATPACK SALLY was again checked shortly after as KAIMAI ROYALE ran outwards off STARSHINE GIRL. COMET PRINCESS was also inconvenienced in this incident. KAIMAI ROYALE and BRATPACK SALLY both lost considerable ground in these checks with post race veterinary checks revealing no injuries.
Race 2 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS SPRINT - C4 - 318 HOT DOC was tightened between runners into the bend and lost ground coming back on to DREAM A WIN with these dogs losing their chances.
Race 3 INTERISLANDER STAKES - C1 - 527 Favourite FANCY KATE and DENNY JEWEL came together into the first bend with both dogs losing ground and settling well back. FLY BEAU (SP Clark) left hind pad graze. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 11 December 2008.
Race 4 BROWNZY SPORTS BAR SPRINT - C1 - 318 BLACK ELLY appeared to be dragged down as DREAM SEEKER contacted her when in the leading group into the bend and fell severely checking BREATHLYSE ME who lost all chance. BLACK ELLY completed the course with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 5 $20,000 PICK6 STAKES - C1 - 527 HITMAN FRED was a handy third coming into the straight but weakened out badly in the home straight to finish sixth. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury but it had appeared to have cramped up in the final stages. MILVALE BALE was last into the first bend but made ground sharply in the run home to finish third. SUNSET ULTRA (CA Ramsey) was a late scratching at kennelling with a right hind cut pad. Rule 68.26. 14 days up to and including 20 December 2008.
Race 6 THORNTON AUCTIONS SPRINT - C2 - 318 CAWBOURNE CARD and STREET TALL came together into the bend with STREET TALL losing a couple of lengths. He fought on well for third. In the run to the first bend AGENT WHALE and THRILLING SMILE came into contact with each other at the rear. AGENT WHALE made ground late for fifth.
Race 7 LYNFIELD TAB STAKES - C2/3 - 527 CALM RIP and FANCY SPIDER came together into the first bend. THRILLING TASHA (BA Hunt) stood down at Wanganui GRC on 3 December 2008. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 9 December 2008.
Race 8 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - C5 - 318 SUPER HOUND was checked as FLYING CHAMELEON ran outwards from the inside. SUPER HOUND appeared to make contact with the running rail and lose ground before finishing on well for fourth. A post race veterinary check of SUPER HOUND revealed no injury.
Race 9 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C4 - 527 All clear.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & TAB SIXPACK - C1 - 318 JILL was tightened in the early rush and settled back. Into the bend DOUBLEO received a check as BOKARM ELLIE crossed him and lost a few lengths.
