Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer Mrs DL Annette was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when BREATHLYSE ME weighed in at 33.5 kgs which was 1.1 kgs above his last race weight on 13 November 2008.
Handler AM Bowen was fined $50.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 when he failed to catch KITTY'S THUNDER after Race 9 as arranged.

Race 1 GREYHOUNDS AS PETS SPRINT STAKES - C0 - 527 CATCH THE BREEZE ran inwards soon after the jump resulting in crowding to THRILLING BRIT, THRILLING CHANT and SUNSET SERIES. COMET PRINCESS was slow to jump and settled last but ran on well for third. THRILLING BRIT came off the fence on the home turn in order to obtain a run pushing SUNSET SERIES wider around that turn. HOMEBUSH TUI (PW Cleaver) was a late scratching at kennelling as he was limping after knocking his left hind leg. Rule 68.26. 3 days up to and including 2 December 2008.
Race 2 TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT - C5 - 318 CAWBOURNE CATHY and SWINGING ZORRO came together in the early rush and lost ground. CAWBOURNE KERRY received a check on the home turn when racing in between WINSOME NOVA and CAWBOURNE CATHY losing some momentum.
Race 3 CATCH RESTAURANT SPRINT - C2/3 - 318 HOMEBUSH JENNA ran sharply in towards the rail from her wide draw with all dogs except BEACH STREET and DREAM A WIN being inconvenienced. BROTHER BADGER appeared to clip the rail as a result of this and dropped to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 4 RODEWALD HART BROWN SPRINT - C0 - 318 THRILLING PLAY and MOLLY GO LIGHTLY were both slow to jump. Into the bend KAIMAI ROYALE clipped the rear of DADS GIFT with this runner moving outwards checking MISS TORI and ONSET. Favourite MYREEN was also inconvenienced in this incident. Shortly after this MOLLY GO LIGHTLY hit the running rail and dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Starter Gary Sharp was injured after this race when hit by a dog and suffered a suspected dislocated knee. Phil Green, Graeme Calverley and Lynne Bliek all assisted with starting duties for the remainder of the programme.
Race 5 $20,000 PICK6 - C1 - 318 BIGTIME TEDDY was tightened soon after the jump and lost ground. QUEEN LIZZY received a check into the bend and dropped out.
Race 6 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - C2 - 318 Tightening into the bend caused THRILLING SNOW to be severely checked and HISTORY NEVER to also lose ground. Post race veterinary checks of these dogs revealed a puncture wound to left carpus of HISTORY NEVER with a five day stand down recommended while THRILLING SNOW received no injury. HISTORY NEVER (GR Farrell) puncture wound to left carpus. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 4 December 2008.
Race 7 LYNFIELD TAB STAKES - C1 - 527 THRILLING SYD was checked into the back straight losing ground and finishing last. THRILLING ASH (K Walsh) gastroenteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 4th December 2008.
Race 8 NZ COMMUNITY TRUST SPRINT - C4 - 318 MISS COOL DASH faltered soon after the jump and tailed the field home. This dog received a torn gracilis muscle with the trainer advising that she has been retired from racing. DREAMAQUEEN appeared to clip the heels of TERROR JIM into the bend and lost ground with TERROR JIM running wide soon after. In the run to the judge THRILLING POWER ran inwards dictating the line of TERROR JIM. KING JOKER (M McFarlane) mild sprain to left fore digits. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 1 December 2008. MISS COOL DASH (NP Green) torn gracilis muscle. Rule 82.1. 35 days up to and including 3 January 2009. Dog retired.
Race 9 TROPHIES PLUS STAKES - C3/4 - 527 POSITIVE GOLD and JAYMESS came together into the first bend losing ground and settling at the rear.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & TAB SIXPACK - C1 - 318 HITMAN FRED and BIGTIME DANCER came together in the early rush. Soon after PRINCESS WELLSY dropped away finishing a long last. A post race veterinary check of her revealed a strained left hind leg with a five day stand down recommended. Just prior to the home bend the favourite ONIE'S LAD was checked when attempting to find room. PRINCESS WELLSY (TA Green) strained left hind leg. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 4 December 2008.
