Judicial report: Weather: Overcast and windy Trainer JA Cleaver was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when ONSET weighed in at 27.9 kgs which was 1.2 kgs under her last race weight on 9 November 2008.
Trainer GM Hunt was fined $50.00 when DENNY JEWEL weighed in at 31.2 kgs which was 1.3 kgs over his last race weight on 9 November 2008.

Race 1 CAROL'S TAB PAPAKURA SPRINT - C1 - 318 CAWBOURNE BESS, WHAT SHIRAZ and THRILLING AMY came together in the early rush and settled well back.
Race 2 LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY SPRINT - C0 - 318 ABIGAIL'S PARTY, MAMBO SAM and especially MISS OBEDIENCE were all slow to leave the traps. ABIGAIL'S PARTY lost a length in the back straight as MAMBO SAM improved around her. FAILED TO STOP (TA Green) right hock strain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 30 November 2008.
Race 3 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C5 - 318 GUNNADOO KNIGHT ran outwards into the bend to find racing room and in doing so checked BIG PA who came out on COWBOY JAKE and NEW CLEAR POWER who lost their chances. BIG PA dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing a possible fractured metatarsal with a thirty day stand down recommended. Into that bend LONGFORD ANNIE was checked as she attempted to cross STATELY CONQUEST on her inner with LONGFORD ANNIE losing a couple of lengths. She recovered to run third. BIG PA (DD Schofield) possible fracture of metatarsal bone. Rule 82.1. 30 days up to and including 22 December 2008.
Race 4 CAROL'S TABS SERIES FINAL - C0f - 318 THRILLING MOSS was slowest away from the inside but recovered quickly to be handy into the first bend and run on for second. THRILLING CHANT and THRILLING SIOUX came together for a stride soon after the jump. Soon after THRILLING SIOUX attempted to cross to the inside crowding MEDIA MOGUL, THRILLING CHANT, CATCH THE BREEZE and FORGET NOT who all lost ground.
Race 5 CAROL'S TAB PUKEKOHE DASH - C1 - 318 HITMAN FRED ran outwards in the back straight causing tightening to EYES A TITLE. Shortly after EYES A TITLE and GOES SIRROCCO came together, as did YES MISS and KINSALE LAD into the bend. At the lure YES MISS leapt the field and fell heavily. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 6 THE BROWNZY SPORTS BAR STAKES - C1 - 527 All clear.
Race 7 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C2 - 527 Into the first bend HOMEBUSH TREVOR was tightened and fell. This dog then made its way back down the home straight as the field approached the bend. The lure driver pulled the lure up in the interests of safety and the race was abandoned. Lure driver Erana Koroheke is to be commended for her actions in this incident along with trainers Paul Freeman and Bob Bond. All dogs were checked by the veterinary surgeon after the race specifically the original faller HOMEBUSH TREVOR and THANK YOU SEAS who fell over the inside rail when the lure was stopped. HOMEBUSH TREVOR received bruising and grazes to his left stifle and THANK YOU SEAS bruising and a minor laceration to the left fore antibrachium with five day stand downs recommended for each dog. SUPER DRY (BDF Craik) hind left digit 2 metatarso - phalangeal joint sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 4 December 2008. HOMEBUSH TREVOR (PW Cleaver) bruising and grazes to left stifle after fall. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 27 November 2008. THANK YOU SEAS (IL George) bruising and minor laceration to left fore antibrachium. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 27 November 2008.
Race 8 CAROL'S TAB MANUREWA DASH - C4 - 318 MILVALE BALE was the last to jump. KIMMY'S DIVA came together with GRADUATED CLASS as KIMMY'S DIVA was coming into the race just prior to the home turn. KIMMY'S DIVA lost momentum in this incident but made ground to be a close up sixth.
Race 9 PAT FROUDE MEMORIAL - C5 - 318 MOON DANCER was checked as she tried to cross HOT DOC into the bend and lost momentum. She rallied well to finish third in a blanket finish. BIGTIME NEV was checked in this incident and lost ground. MISS AMY DRY (BDF Craik) minor sprain right wrist. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 27 November 2008.
Race 10 PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) STAKES - C4/5 - 527 THRILLING FORCE and YOUNG VALIANT came together for a stride soon after the jump and settled back. SYDENHAM SMITH (SP Clark) gastroenteritis. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 23 November 2008. FLYING CHAMELEON (SP Clark) gastroenteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 27 November 2008.
Race 11 THE ALAMO BAR & TAB SIX PACK - C2 - 318 EXPRESS RHODE was tightened soon after the jump and settled last. He made some ground for sixth. KITTY'S THUNDER (HS Laagland) bruised right calf and spike wound. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 25 November 2008.
Race 12 THE ALAMO BAR & TAB SIX PACK - C2 - 318 WINSOME STATE was slow to jump and remained back and wide throughout. BIGTIME LEGEND (GR Farrell) left digital flexor sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 27 November 2008.
