Into the bend HOMEBUSH TUI appeared to drag THRILLING PLAY down from behind with THRILLING PLAY falling. THRILLING IDOL was badly checked in this incident. THRILLING PLAY regained her feet and finished the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |

A post race veterinary check revealed sesamoiditis with a fourteen day stand down recommended. STATELY CONQUEST (SP Clark) gastroenteritis. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 17 November 2008. SALLY'S BABE (DD Schofield) left hind lateral digit - sesamoiditis with xray recommended. | Race 7 | THORNTON AUCTIONS - C1 - 527 | THRILLING JIM was slow to jump and remained well back throughout. Favourite THRILLING CHASE was tightened into the first bend and settled towards the rear. |
| Race 8 | MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - C2/3 - 527 | Favourite THANK YOU JIM was tightened on the first bend by ANOTHER PRIDE with resultant checks to THRILLING WOLF and ARTERIAL BALE. THANK YOU JIM also checked off the heels of THRILLING NEO on the entrance to the back straight. |

SPIKE'S SPECIAL and EXPRESS RHODE were badly checked in this incident. YOUNG DADDY regained his feet to complete the journey with a post race veterinary check revealing carpus bruising and grazes with a five day stand down recommended. | Race 10 | JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS - C4 - 318 | Favourite BLACK SPOT PRANG drifted early in the race free of interferenceand finished some twenty lengths from the winner. A post race veterinary check revealed a hip support injury with a twenty one day stand down recommended. BLACK SPOT PRANG (RP O'Regan) torn hip support muscle.
