Judicial report: Weather: fine Trainer Daniel Brewer--and his staff were spoken to regarding moving away from the boxes once the dogs have been put away, and taking instuctions from the starter.
Trainer Brendon Cole was spoken to in regards of his comments to the veterinary surgeon, and has apologised to Mr Boyce and no further action was warranted at this time

Race 1	CHARLIE BOYCE, FOXTON VET - C0 - 375	At the start WILLY MALONE and WHERE'S MY PIANO came together for a couple of strides. Racing in to the first bend WILLY MALONE had to check back of the heels of POWER OF ZEN for a few strides , causing these two dogs to lose ground and they could not get in to contention from there on in filling the last two positions at the post
Race 2	DECOART PRINTED PRODUCTS, LEVIN - C0 - 457	At the start TROTRO ,ROUGH 'EM UP and TAILS OFF all came together and jostled each other for several strides costing them a better start. TAILS OFF ran wide in to and around the top bend which cost him valuable ground through out the journey LIVELY SPIRIT was racing midfield around the top bend and was noticed to stumble when clear of other runners ,going back through the field to finish in last position A veterinary check was ordered for LIVELY SPIRIT and was found to have suffered injuries requiring a 7 days stand down----------. LIVELY SPIRIT K J Hanover Abrasion and mild bruising of right metatercals Rule 82.1. 7 days stand down to and including 8.11.08.
Race 3	WENHAM GRAIN & SEED - C1 - 375	BILL THE LAWYER (2nd fav) led the field out of the boxes for about 70 metres ,then was noticed to be drifting back through the field for no apparent reason As the field raced in to the home straight BILL THE LAWYER came to the outside of the field and attempted to run on the last 40 or so metres beating one other runner to the line A post veterinary examination could fine no apparent injuries to the dog, and the dog was stood down for 28 days under rule 80.1b-- Some time later in the day the trainer advised the stewards that he was not comfortable with the condition of his dog ,so he was given permission to have the dog rexamined under rule 80.4 and the dog was found to be suffering general body soreness and the veterinary surgeon amended his earlier prognosis to a 21 days stand down for further examination by the trainer. BILL THE LAWYER there for had his earlier stand down under rule 80.1.b recinded by rule 80.5. and replaced with a stand down under rule 82.1 and to do a satisfactory trial before racing again.--------. BILL THE LAWYER A Van Der Merwe inflamation of both bachio-cephalic muscles Rule 82.1. 21 days stand down to and including 21.11.08.
Race 4	DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C1 - 457	TEENY TINY (fav) was slow away from the boxes and got caught in traffic when trying to improve up on the rail midrace as SWEET PAPOOSE changed ground TEENY TINY was squeezed back , but made up ground to finish in 5th position at the line----------. PANGO WILL HE A J McCook Right hock sprain vet certificate supplied Rule 64.12. 14 days stand down to and including 13.11.08. .
Race 5	WIZARD HOME LOANS FINAL - C1f - 457	WAITUI FURY was slow away , but was able to make up ground through out to run in to 2nd place at the line. Soon after the start CAWBOURNE WILKO came across sharply on to EVA TITU who then bumped in to CATCHING ON putting these dogs off stide for a a few strides Racing in to the first turn CATCHING ON came across towards the rail and severly checked PECCARI and CAWBOURNE OPAL back to the rear and thay lost all chance from there on in filling the last two placings at the line----------.
Race 6	PORTER HIRE PALMERSTON NORTH - C2 - 375	JIMMY THUNDER was forced to race wide in to and around the top bend due to him almost running up on the back of KID DELANEY as he changed ground, causing him to cover a lot of extra ground, but was still able to run in to 5 th placing at the line Soon after crossing the line JIMMY THUNDER fell over ,but was up on his feet quickly and carried on to the lure A veterinary examination of JIMMY THUNDER could find no abnormalities, no stand down required----------.
Race 7	BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES - C2/3 - 457	As the field left the boxes NELLY JEAN came across sharply on to BOY GENIUS and BUZZ ,resulting in BOY GENIUS being squeezed and losing several lengths at that point As the field raced on to the first turn ACCUSER came across on to BOY GENIUS , who was forced to then check back off the heels of IN THE MOB and he never recovered from this to be able to get back in to contention from there on in The Lure driver was spoken to regarding his driving of this race , as the lure seemed to be a bit long when the lids opened and the leading dog BUZZ CAFE was noticed to get a bit close to the lure on the top bend----------.
Race 8	GRANT IRVINE PHARMACY - C4 - 375	At the start THRILLING GRIT came out on to CAWBOURNE GREG knocking him off stride. Soon after THRILLING GRIT had to check back off the heels of GUNNADOO KNIGHT and went back through the field towards the rear As the field made there way across the top bend THRILLING GRIT struck more trouble as CAWBOURNE GREG came across on to her ,causing her to drop out in the home straight and finish in last position at the post A veterinary examination was ordered for THRILLING GRIT,where no abnormalities were found
Race 9	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C4/5 - 375	BLACK TIE (fav) was only fairly away from the boxes and raced realitvley handy to the home turn and only battled in the home stright for a laclustre 5th placing at the post BLACK TIE was sent for a veterinary examination. where no abnormalities were found
Race 10	THRILLING KENNELS MIDDLE DISTANCE - C4/5 - 457	As the field left the boxes SHIFTY DOONS came across on to CAWBOURNE KING who then bounced off him on to DIAMOND ZAC putting these dogs off strides for a few metres. .
Race 11	TOTAL IRRIGATION CENTRAL LTD - C3 - 375	There was no head on coverage of this race due to trackside having other commitments. PATTYS ANSWER and COMMANDER LEE were slow away On the top bend COMMANDER LEE was attempting to make ground and came in on to RYMOR REASON who then had to check back taking the line of DANCE FOR DANNY who went back on to SIROCCO RICK who had to check back to avoid heels and lost momentum and ground at that point.
