Judicial report: Weather: Fine MS Hartland was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when TUKURUA, a starter in Race 12 weighed in 1.3kgs under his last race start weight.
A Hart/K Taylor were fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when NITRO MOWIE, a starter in Race 13 weighed in 1.3kgs under his last race start weight.
RW Cairns was charged with a breach of Rule 88.1.f. in respect of an incident following the Satisfactory Trial which took place after kennelling. The matter was adjourned for a hearing at Adington Raceway on Thursday 30 October 2008.

| Race 7 | DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY DASH - C3 - 295 | BOY GENIUS and KATHLEEN BOY were slow to leave the boxes. Into the bend CAWBOURNE HAPPY moved out and tightened HOMEBUSH DARCY, HOMEBUSH BUBBLES and ALECIA RELTUB. Just prior to the despatch a starling was observed to fly across in front of the boxes but without inconvenience to the start. |
| Race 8 | FLAIR STAKES - C1 - 520 | Soon after the jump IRON MAIDEN and FIRM OFFER came together. Into the bend FIRM OFFER was tightened again when racing between IRON MAIDEN and BETTER NOT BALE. A few strides later JUST FOREVER moved off the rail and bumped IRON MAIDEN wide on the track. Around the first bend IRON MAIDEN angled across to the rail and in doing so impeded the progress of BETTER NOT BALE who lost ground. | Race 13 | ADVANCE PERFORMANCE MAIDEN SPRINT - C0f - 295 | The start of the race was delayed when HOMEBUSH ASTRID required a veterinary check prior to walking to the 295m start. Nothing was detected by veterinarian with the dog taking her place in the field. RAMA DING DONG drifted quickly soon after the start. Into the bend HUGO FIRST moved out and pushed KNOW TROUBLE into the path of HOMEBUSH ASTRID who was badly checked to finish last. |
| Race 14 | WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ SPRINT - C4 - 295 | Into the bend BAXTERS LAD clipped the heels of CALL ME and almost fell. BAXTERS LAD recovered quickly to run on to foinish second. Simultaneously GENISTA SPIRIT was tightened when racing on the fence and dropped out quickly to finish last. PRAISE BE (R Adcock) right groin sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. | Race 19 | CLARKSON SIGN STUDIO DASH - C5 - 295 | Soon after the start HONCHO went amiss when racing free of interference. Into the bend BOTANY ROY, DUWANNA HAND and GRANT A FORTUNE came together with GRANT A FORTUNE badly unbalanced. A post race veterinary examination of HONCHO revealed lameness to the left hind leg with a 10 day stand down recommended. HONCHO (JT McInerney) lameness to left hind.
