Judicial report: Weather: fine Trainer Mr B.A.Hunt admitted a charge under rule 69-11 in that he presented his Greyhound, Runaway Rosco which weighed in at 35.7 kg's this being 1.9 kg down in weight from it's previous start on the 28th September 2008. A fine of $100.00 was imposed in this instance.
Trainer Mr P.G.Lowen was charged with a breach of Rule 72.9 (c) in that he did something to attract the attention of the greyhound Hitman Fred, in race 10 which directly contravenes rule 72.9(c) Mr Lowen admitted that he had yelled to his greyhound from behind the boxes and was present at the hearing. Having taken into consideration the admission of this breach by Mr.Lowen the Adudicating Steward imposed a fine of $25.00 in this instance.

After the jump Thrilling Chant and Moonshine Lass were checked when they were josling. At the first bend Bluebell Rocket cut across to the rail and checked Super Dry which contacted the hindquaters of Bluebell Rocket. Super Dry dropped back and checked Cawbourne Browny this runner dropped back sharply. A post race vet check revealed no injury to Cawbourne Browny.
Race 2	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS - C1 - 318	Beach Street checked off the hindquaters of Waimak Pat when Greg Smurfee ran out after the start. Central Virus and Waikika Pirate came together in the run to the first turn with both of these runners being checked . Breathlyse Me ( D.L.Annette) Right wrist (carpus) Sprain Rule 64-12 10 days to and including 17/10/08.
Race 3	GERRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND PUKEKOHE - C0 - 318	Miss Tori and Thrilling Leo were the slowest too begin. Thrilling Jim and Talkabout Chill came together after the start. Thrilling Jim cut across Heist into the first bend checking this runner. A poost race vet check of Thrilling Leo revealed no injury. Rapid Foot ( J.P.Foot) Stood down Waikato 16/10/08 Thrilling Play ( G.B.Darcy) Papilloma right hind main pad Rule 68-26 5 days to and including 23/10/08 Late Scratching.
Race 4	NZ COMMUNITY TRUST - C3 - 318	Contagen was the slowest too begin. After the start Dream A Win ran inwards forcing Thrilling Turk onto Manly Magic this runner hitting the rail. A post race vet check of Manly Magic revealed no injury . Thrilling Smile (A Cleaver) Right hind digit 2 sprain p2-p3 joint Rule 64-12 10 days to and including 28/10/08
Race 5	$40,000 PICK6 STAKES - C1 - 527	Fly Beau and Denny Jewel were the slowest too begin. As the field raced to the first bend Billy Thunder and Don The hop came together for a stride. Into the bend out of the back straight Are You Envious and Julie's Lady came together for a stride with Are You Envious being checked for a stride.
Race 6	CAROL'S TAB SPRINT SERIES FINAL - C1f - 318	Thrilling Catch and Street Tall were the slowest too begin. Black Elly ran inwards after the jump forcing Street tall onto Thrilling Catch Eye's A Title ran out after the start forcing Thrilling Catch onto Street Tall these runners were checked in this incident Thrilling Catch was forced into the rail by Street Tall. A post race vet check on Thrilling Catch revealed an injury requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Race 7	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #6 FINAL - RESf - 527	Killer Touch and Nassiray Jewel were the slowest too begin. In the run to the first bend Thrilling Wolf ran inwards and checked Kaimai Belle for a stride. Around the home turn Thrilling Lucy was observed to check off heels. Race 8	TROPHIES PLUS - C2 - 318	Mad Decision and Bigtime Legend were the slowest too begin. Bigtime Teddy and Bigtime Legend came together for a stride in the run to the first bend. After the start Mad Decision and Homebush King were checked for a stride when Runaway Rosco ran outwards. Race 9	LYNFIELD TAB - C5 - 318	Nutty Squirrel wa the slowest too begin. After the start Cowboy Jake and Nutty Squirrel came together for a few strides. Swinging Zorro ran inwards after the start and in doing so checked Classic Ben forcing this runner onto Cawbourne Cathy checking this runner also. Sally's Babe (fav) began well and then tried to run out, contacted Nutty Squirrel, became unbalanced and fell. A post race vet check on Sally's Babe revealed an injury requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Sally's Babe ( D.D.Schofield) Left Hock Strain Rule 82-1 14 days to and including 1/11/08
