Race 1 | DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C0 - 310 | NITRO MOWIE, WANDY WARRIOR and HOMEBUSH LADY came together soon after the start. Into the bend MITRO MOWIE ran outwards forcing HOMEBUSH LADY into the path of HAGLER. |
Race 2 | WATERLOO HOTEL SPRINT - C0 - 310 | HOMEBUSH WHEET was struck by HOMEBUSH ASTRID soon after the jump almost falling and losing all chance. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. HUGO FIRST ran outwards after jumping tightening HOMEBUSH SPIDER who was forced out onto CAWBOURNE GEORGA and HOMEBUSH ASTRID into the bend. Soon after HUGO FIRST clipped the heels of HOMEBUSH MARLON who lost momentum. ANOTHER BAXTER (JT McInerney) scratched at Christchurch GRC on 14 October 2008. Race 3 | VALLEY LODGE LIQUOR CENTRE STAKES - C0 - 545 | BREENYS BOY and WEE SHADOW came together after the start and both ran wide around the first bend to lose ground and fill the last two placings. ANOTHER SAGE (JT McInerney) left hind outside sesamoid pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to 22 October 2008. MANDY LIFEBOATS (RM McKenzie) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with gastro enteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 20 October 2008. |
Race 4 | MORNINGTON TAVERN SPRINT - C3 - 310 | Into the bend HOMEBUSH BUBBLES dropped down to the rail to trail the leader HAILSTONE HERB forcing CAWBOURNE BURST to check outwards and collide with MOST ROYAL, both coming back on THEMELO. MOST ROYAL was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a cut to the left knee with a 7 day stand down recommended. MOST ROYAL (Hart/Taylor) cut to left knee. Race 5 | SOUTHERN SPORTS BAR SPRINT - C4 - 310 | From the jump AWESOME DEEJAY ran outwards and forced CAWBOURNE SAM into the path of GO STRAIT THREW. AWESOME DEEJAY and CAWBOURNE SAM came together again onto the turn with both dogs losing all chance to finish at the rear. BAXTER'S GENERAL (JT McInerney) swollen right hind 3rd toe. Race 6 | COMMERCIAL TAVERN GREEN ISLAND STAKES - C1 - 545 | KNOW BEST and KAIWERA SARAH came together soon after the start. Soon after SISTER DEE and ZORRO MAN came together. Into the bend SISTER DEE moved down towards the rail checking WILLY MINA and TORY CHANNEL. TORY CHANNEL was subject to a veterinary check which revealed lameness in the right hind foot with a 7 day stand down recommended. TORY CHANNEL (JT McInerney) right hind lameness. Race 7 | OTAGO TAB PUBLICANS SWEEPSTAKE TROPHY - C5 - 310 | REMUS ran wide around the taking taking SWIFT TOKEN with him. SWIFT TOKEN was examined by the veterinarian and found to have a right rear stopper pad injury with a 5 day stand down recommended. SWIFT TOKEN (JT McInerney) right rear stopper pad injury. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 20 October 2008. |
Race 8 | WOBBLYS BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C4/5 - 545 | Into the first turn ROMAN HOME moved outwards and checked the running of SATAN'S PLOT. At the end of the back straight REPEAT OFFENDER drifted backwards and checkd LAGOON LAD who lost ground but ran on strongly in the home straight to get up for 2nd. IN TOM'S MEMORY led into the home straight but tied up in the run home and finished 4th. A post race veterinary check showed the dog suffering from cramp with no stand down recommended. |
Race 9 | CROFTERS PUB & CAFE SPRINT - C2 - 310 | ANOTHER MANGLES and KNOW GO came together into the bend with a trailing SOICHIRO being badly checked. Soon after KNOW GO checked out off ROCKA HULA forcing BEAUTIFUL MOMENT over extra ground. SOICHIRO was examined by the veterinarian and found with a cut toe that required sutures with 7 day stand down recommended. CHARTERIS BAY (JT McInerney)mild sprin left fore 3rd toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 9 days up to and including 24 October 2008. WORLD WARNING (MM Grant) was a late scratching at kennelling with gastro enteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 20 October 2008. SOICHIRO (JT McInerney) cut toe sutured. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 22 October 2008. |
Race 10 | HEFFS HOTEL SPRINT - C1 - 310 | Into the turn KNOW DESIRE moved outwards and forced ROBTITLE over extra ground, but both dogs recovered to finish 3rd and 4th respectively. NITRO PEGGY, the winner was carried from the track but the veterinarian was unable to locate an injury. Trainer K Taylor advised that she would seek veterinary attention tomorrow. DA COOLA (JT McInerney) kennel cough. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 22 October 2008. |
