Judicial report: Weather: Fine The Stewards have opened an investigation under the provisions of Rules, 38.1 (b) and 38.3 (a) into alleged incidents involving Mr S.C.Mann and Mr G Farrell at this meeting.
This matter is the subject of ongoing investigation.
Race 3 Mr J.Nixon indicated too Mr K. Coppins Stipendiary Steward, following this race that he wished to lodge a protest as to his dog having been drawn in the wrong box when the field was drawn for this event. Mr Nixon was advised that the correct procedure had been followed as per the Policies for certificates of incapacitation which have been in place since September 2007. Mr. J Nixon did not come forward too lodge his objection following being advised of this and the all clear was given.

As the field raced into the back straight Kitty's Thunder and Thrilling Snow both racing at the front of the field came together when Thrilling snow tried to cross to the rail with Kitty's Thunder falling. A post race vet check on Kitty's Thunder revealed sand inhalation with a stand down of 10 days recommended. In the run to the first turn Another Fitz contacted Thrilling world with both of these runners being checked. Queen Lizzy also came in and checked itself and Rapid Foot. | Race 3 | JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS SPRINT - C1 - 318 | Winsome Sky and Thrilling Syd were the slowest to begin. Big Archie and Thrilling Syd came together for a stride with both of these runners being checked for a stride. |
| Race 4 | NZ RACING SERIES # 6 HEAT 2 - RESq - 527 Heat 1 | Nassiray Jewel was the slowest to begin. After the start Billy Thunder and Rialto Rosie came together and both of these runners were checked. Close Combat ran out and checked itself and Billy Thunder. |
| Race 5 | $25,000 PICK6 SPRINT - C2/3 - 318 | Flying Chameleon , Bigtime Legend and Dream on Cyrus were the slowest to begin. After the start Thrilling Smile and Dream On Cyrus came together and both of these runners were checked . Homebush Jenna, Dream On Cyrus and Thrilling Smile all came together and suffered checks in this incident. Moon Dancer was observed to get it's near front paw caught at the lure a post race vet check revealed an injury to digits 3 &4 with a 21 day stand down recommended. | Race 6 | TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT - C5 - 318 | Thrilling Force was the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the turn out of the back straight Thrilling Paris ran out and checked Nutty Squirrel which fell. Thrilling Game and Annies Brat came together for a stride with both of these runners being checked in this incident. New Clear Power was observed to strike the running rail in the run to the first turn and a post race vet check on this runner revealed a broken tail with a 21 day stand down recommended. Watch That Whale was observed to shorten stride as the field raced around the first turnas this runner raced around the turn out of the back straight Watch That Whale was seen to break down finishing in last place Watch That whale was uthanased having sustained a fractured hock. Stand Out Matt and Spike's Special came together for a stride with both of these runners being checked in this incident. |

As the field raced down the back straight Jin Ju cut across Shea Sherie checking this runner. Around the bend out of the back straight Owney Joe Tar came in and checked itself and Fly Beau. |
| Race 10 | THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL SIX PACK - C4 - 318 | After the start it was obseved that Thermostatic came across and caused a slight check to Waitak Thunder Bigtime Nev also at the same time ran out and made contact with Waitak Thunder . Following these two incidents it was obseved that Waitak Thunder had suffered an injury a post race vet check revealed a torn left gracilus injury with a 45 day stand down recommended.
