Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer SC Mann was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when BLACK BOOK weighed in at 34.6 kgs which was 1.4 kgs above his last race weight on 4 September 2008.
Trainer PG Lowen was fined $50.00 when he admitted a breach of Rule 71.2 in that he failed to appear for a pre-race swab at the stipulated time.

They were both checked as BIGTIME SNOWIE who had been slow to jump ran past them into the bend and remained at the rear. Following the race CAWBOURNE SHORTY appeared to be limping with a post race veterinary check revealing metacarpal periostitis with a seven day stand down recommended. Into the first bend CAPP MANNERING checked outwards sharply off CAWBOURNE WAY with both dogs losing ground. CAPP MANNERING and GO TEDDY GO also came together out of the front straight. CAWBOURNE WAY and kennelmate GO TEDDY GO both tailed the field home thereafter with post race veterinary checks revealing no injuries. |
