Race 2 GUTHRIE BOWRON, WANGANUI - C2 - 305 PEACE ICON ran out from the start and checked CASANRA and ALL ABOUT MILLY and they settled towards the rear. LESS THAN IDEAL G.Holswich Rule 64 Suffering from a leg muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 22.10.08.
Race 3 WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C1 - 305 HAILSTONE HARLY, HOMEBUSH ALIDA and ELITE BAXTER were checked and lost ground on the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 4 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 520 FOUR WHITE SOX was checked soon after the start and was last into the first corner and did not make up much ground. TIGER INDY WOODS was checked on the first turn and lost several lengths. He never recovered and finished in last place. UPAHUT QUEEN W.T.Hodgson Now deceased.
Race 5 MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C2 - 305 BLUE WATCH and BIGTIME BEAUTY were checked on the first corner losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 6 KEENAN CONCRETE - C3/4 - 520 LAGOON FIFI ran in from the start and tightened LAGOON FIFI, LISA SHIRAZ, WINSOME DIGNITY and NO DRAMA DON and they all lost ground.
Race 7 MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C3f - 305 RYMOR REASON moved out slightly on the first corner and checked FLOJO FLYER who was galloped on by CAWBOURNE DORE and fell. GO GROOVY was also affected and he and CAWBOURNE DORE lost all chance and finished at the rear. FLOJO FLYER was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a fractured wrist. FLOJO FLYER Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered a fractured wrist and stood down for 42 days to and including 06.11.08.
Race 8 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C5 - 305 CAB DRIVER and TWIST MIST jostled together for several strides in the race to the first corner and CAB DRIVER was checked back to near the rear and finished in 6th place.
Race 9 WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C4 - 305 PATTYS ANSWER was away well enough but was tightly placed on the rail and went back to last on the first corner. He did make up some ground to finish in 5th place. FUN AND PROFIT A.Duganzich Rule 64 Suffering from a webbing injury and stood downfor 10 days to and including 03.10.08. BIGTIME ROYALE D.Gough Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 5 days to and including 30.09.08.
Race 10 SEE YOU @ THE RED - C5 - 305 SKADDADLE ran in from the start and checked END ZONE, BOTANY ROY and CAWBOURNE STACEY who all lost ground and they finished in the rear group. AMBEROSE was handy to the first corner but was checked and lost several lengths and she finished in 2nd last place. PIZZA GIRL J.T.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from gracilus muscle soreness and stood down for 7 days to and including 30.09.08. FORWARD SOLUTION Mathews & Lozell Rule 64 Suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 28 days to and including 21.10.08. POLSKA T & K Mischefski Rule 82 Suffered toe and sesamoid injuries and stood down for 28 days to and including 23.10.08.
