Race 1	FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C0 - 375	PRINCESS WELLSY began awkwardly from the boxes ,and was noticed to be not galloping comfortably and finished at the rear. A veterinary examination found an injury requiring a 10 day stand down As the raced across the top bend CYCLONE TRAVIS had to check back off the heels of TALKABOUT POPPY and these two dogs lost ground at that point PRINCESS WELLSY T A Green injury to right quadriceps muscle Rule 82.1. 10 days stand down to and including 24.9.08
Race 2	PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL - C0 - 375	WAIMAK PAT (fav) got away well then drifted back to fourth in the running and finished in that placing at the post-- Soon after the start TALKABOUT CHILL came across the face of the field towards the rail and caused checks to VALUE PACK,MARCO SHARK ,BOB LEE SWAGGER and DIMPLE BREEZE VALUE PACK was able to recover to gain an inside run and ran on to win well DIMPLE BREEZE raced wide around the top bend in to the home straight causing himself to cover a lot of extra ground in the running-- . Race 3	OROUA DOWNS TANNERY - C1 - 375	As the field raced in to the first bend THRILLING CHARM was looking for racing room and came in as TIMMY VINE came off the rail and THRILLING CHARM was almost dragged down as TIMMY VINE ran up on to her back in trying to avoid her These two dogs could not recover to get back in to contention and filled the last to placings at the post TIMMY VINE was given a veterinary examination where no abnormalities were found THRILLING CHARM was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have suffered muscle damage with a 5 day stand down reccomended----------. Race 4	TOTAL IRRIGATION CENTRAL LTD - C2 - 375	On the point of the home turn DREAMY LOVE was making ground through the field and fell as she collided with THRILLING ZARA who had been pushed over as LESHITA came across under her neck at that point. DREAMY LOVE suffered a fracture of the humerus and was humanley euthanised----------. Race 5	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C1 - 457	SUZY MAC was very slow away from the boxes by severel lenghts MISS SILENCE and ACCUSER lay on each other for some distance as they raced down to the first turn , soon after THRILLING SUNNY came across and came together with MISS SILENCE for several strides. . Race 6	BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES - C1 - 375	THRILLING TURN was slow away from the boxes losing at least 7 lengths Soon after the start LESS THAN IDEAL came aross the face of the field and caused FLIRTATIOUS WINK,BENBULBEN BEN, and STARLIGHT WOODS to be checked ,and STARLIGHT WOODS ended back at the rear with FLIRTATIOUS WINK, and these two dogs filled the last to positions at the post Racing in to the first turn THRILLING TURN had to check back off the heels of BENBULBEN BEN as he moved closer to the rail at that point----------.
Race 7	DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C4 - 375	As the field raced in to the first bend there was tightning as dogs came across resulting in KIA KAHA climbing up on the heels of TIGGERLONG FURY who then galloped on the heels of BAXTERS BOY who then lost ground BIGTIME ROYALE who was inside these dogs suffered a check which sent him back through the field towards the rear. BIGTIME ROYALE was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have suffered an injury requiring a 10 day stand down BAXTERS BOY was also examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have suffered a webbing injury and a 14 day stand down was reccomended----------. BIGTIME ROYALE D A Gough injury to left deltoid muscle Rule 82.1. 10 days stand down to and including 24.9.08 BAXTER'S BOY B L Goldsack split webbing between p2 &3 Rule 82.1. 14 days stand down to and including 28.9.08
Race 8	KERB & CONCRETE - C5 - 375	Racing in to the first turn CRYSTAL WENDY was checked back to the rear after being squeezed out of a gap between CAWBOURNE GREG and ADAMINSKI. Race 9	THRILLING KENNELS - C2 - 375	THRILLING BLAKE raced wide across the top and in to the home straight causing him to cover a lot of extra ground through out the running and finished in last position at the post. . Race 10	DECOART PRINTED PRODUCTS, LEVIN - C3 - 375	Racing down to the first turn THRILLING BREE came out sharply off the rail on to THRILLING POLAR and REWIRED who was in behind these dogs was severly checked and went down on his haunches almost falling losing all chance from there on in to finish in the rear As the field where making their way around the top bend RYMOR REASON and WINSOME NOVA (fav) were racing tightly together and as they straightened for the run in RYMOR REASON knocked WINSOME NOVA off stride which caused him to become unbalanced for several strides and by the time he got going again the race was all over. WINSOME NOVA was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have suffered a deep spike wound and a 14 days stand down was reccomended----------.
