Judicial report: Weather: Overcast LH Anderton, the trainer of ETOILE NOIR, a starter in Race 1, was fined $50 under Rule 69.11 when the dog weighed in 1.3kg under her last race start weight of 28.4kg on 21 August 2008.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C2 - 295 Into the turn ETOILE NOIR checked off WORLD WARNING and then came into contact with BOTOX BARBIE with all three dogs finishing towards the rear. ROSAMOND (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at meeting of Christchurch GRC on 26 August 2008. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 1 September 2008.
Race 2 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL-UP DASH - C3 - 295 All clear.
Race 3 www.greyhoundtips.co.nz SPRINT - C5 - 295 All clear.
Race 4 www.willywhatatstud.com STAKES - SPECq - 520 Heat 1 All clear.
Race 5 ROBBIES BAR AND BISTRO DISTANCE - C2d - 732 Into the first bend MR JAZZ checked off ROMAN HOME and as a result SCOTT NO TRACK was pushed wide.Into the home straight ROMAN HOME struck the hindquarters of ELARA and brushed the running rail. A post race veterinary examination of ROMAN HOME revealed nothing amiss. ANYTIME SOON (JA McMillan) nomination error by NZGRA. Withdrawn without penalty. WINSOME BLITZ (J&D Fahey) sprained hock. Not presented. Rule 64.5. 28 days up to and including 25 September 2008.
Race 6 www.canterburyproperty.co.nz DASH - C4 - 295 HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was slow to leave the boxes but made ground well for fourth. Into the bend BLAZIN A TRAIL moved out and dragged down REPEAT OFFENDER with the trailing MOMENT also checked out of contention. A post race veterinary check on REPEAT OFFENDER revealed no injury.
Race 7 KOLORFUL KANVAS ROBINSON ROSEBOWL - C5 - 520 Into the first bend WINSOME UNO ran out and checked the improving FRENCH INVADER, CRAFTY FLYNN and CYBER BLUE. Soon after CRAFTY FLYNN had to check and change ground off the heels of CYBER BLUE.
Race 8 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER STAKES - C3/4 - 520 All clear. PAINT THE STARS (C Mitchell) left wrist swelling. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 7 September 2008.
Race 9 CAROL'S T.A.B. DASH - C5 - 295 Into the bend ROSIE RETURN checked off SCARLETT EMPRESS. Soon after HOMEBUSH DARCY moved out off ROSIE RETURN forcing SCARLETT EMPRESS and MADAME JO JO wide on the track, these dogs filling the last four placings. MISSING BEEN (AC Roberts) left metacarpal swollen. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 10 September 2008.
Race 10 BARRON'S SUPPLIES SPRINT - C5 - 295 Into the turn KNOW GOOD crossed over and checked the running of DUWANNA HAND and FOUL PLAY with all three dogs finishing toward the rear. SWIFT TOKEN (JT McInerney) right TFL tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 11 September 2008. MADAME JO JO (C Mitchell) starter in Race 9.
