Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 305	TALKABOUT CHILL moved out across the heels of TARA LILLY on the bend and forced HE'S A STUNNER wide over extra ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 2	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 305	TALKABOUT POPPY was very slow to begin but then made up ground to finish in 4th place. MANUKA QUEEN was handy to the home turn but then checked over the heels of the eventual winner JUST LIKE BEE, lost ground and finished in 6th place. FORGET NOT Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffered a strained shoulder and stood down for 21 days to and including 16.09.08.
Race 3	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C0 - 520	BOLTS BOLTED was checked and fell on the first corner and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a torn gracilus muscle. BOLTS BOLTED McCracken & Udy Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered a torn gracilus muscle and stood down for 14 days to and including 09.09.08.
Race 4	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C0f - 305	The favourite WONGAWILLISTEVE was a little slow to begin and then had to check off the heels of FAST STASS on the first corner. He then recovered to finish in 2nd place.
Race 5	GEON WELLINGTON - C1 - 520	KIWISAVER went off stride on the first corner and dropped out to eventually finish a long distance behind the other runners. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury at that time.
Race 6	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C1 - 305	One of the favourites WINSOME DELUXE was very slow to begin losing several lengths. JAYDEEMOORE checked over the heels of LARRISSA LYN on the bend and ran wide forcing WINSOME DELUXE wide over extra ground and they finished in the last two places.
Race 7	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1f - 520	SUZY MAC was checked and fell a couple of strides after the start and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C2 - 305	JEOPARDY LANE was away well enough but was awkwardly placed adjacent to the rail and was shuffled back to last and stayed there to the finish. CAWBOURNE MELODY Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from a tricep strain and stood down for 21 days to and including 15.09.08.
Race 9	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHER - C1 - 305	General tightening on the first corner resulted in checks to LUCHINO, THRILLING DUTCH, COLERIDGE ANDIE and IT'S PERSONAL and they finished in the last four places. IT'S PERSONAL appeared to have suffered an injury and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a hip support injury. IT'S PERSONAL B.Cole Rule 82 Checked and suffered a hip support injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 09.09.08.
Race 10	THE RADIO WORKS - C1 - 305	TRAVEL HAPPY and THRILLING COLE were slow to begin and they stayed well back to finish in the rear group. UNO THE HISTORY was checked on the bend and dropped back to finish in 2nd last place. SMOOTH ATTACK W.T.Hodgson Greyhound now deceased.
