Judicial report: Weather: Fine GJ HODSON was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when NICKER TIME, a starter in Race 8 weighed in 1.5kgs under her last race start weight.

Race 1	NEW SEASON STAKES - C0 - 545	All clear.
Race 2	SPEEDPRINT SHOP STAKES - C1 - 545	ZORRO MAN was slow to jump but improved quickly around the field. Into the first turn BYE BYE HELEN tightened MR JOLES and MACK'S BOUNTY. Into the back straight MACK'S BOUNTY moved away from the rail and collided with BYE BYE HELEN and PARANOVA. At the end of the back straight the favourite SHAKIN' MARTINI struck the hindquarters of MACK'S BOUNTY losing all chance to finish near the rear.
Race 3	WWW.GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C0 - 310	TICTAC MAN was slow to jump. Into the bend FLYING ASPEN ran outwards and checked MAGNIFICENT, then came back on HOMEBUSH TUI and TICTAC MAN.
Race 4	KEYOSK SERVICE BAR STAKES - C1 - 545	Around the first bend DANCING JAZZY checked outwards and collided with KNOW BEST both losing ground to finish well back.
Race 5	PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL SPRINT - C1 - 310	CATCH A DIVA was slow to jump. In the run to the turn JILL BAXTER moved outwards and checked the running of BELL ROXON which went back and further checked CATCH A DIVA with these two dogs finishing at the rear.
Race 6	BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING STAKES - C2 - 545	ALL TIGER, RIVIERA CHIC and SOICHIRO came together soon after the jump when vying for the lead. Into the bend BETHELLS BABE ran outwards and checked CASANRA BALE, WHO'S SHIFTY and BIBI DAHL. They lost all chance.
Race 7	WOBBLY'S SPRINT - C1 - 310	Into the turn KIWI YOUNG checked off the rear of AQUIT who ran out wide, with AQUIT finishing on well in the straight for third just ahead of KIWI YOUNG. JANDERRA APACHIE (JT McInerney) veterinary certificate to be supplied.
Race 8	FORBURY PARK SPRINT - C1 - 310	Soon after the jump HE'S SO FINE ran outwards tightening KATHLEEN BOY, THRILLING EADIE and SMALL HAND. Soon after NICKER TIME and THRILLING EADIE came together losing ground. Around the bend KATHLEEN BOY ran wide taking ROBTITLE wide as well.
Race 9	WARREN WHITE STAKES - C3 - 545	HOMEBUSH BRADLEY and WINSOME CYCLONE were tightened soon after the jump. Into the bend HANDSOME HAND, GLEN ABBEY MOON and GRANT A DREAM came together. GRANT A DREAM ran on for third.
Race 10	JOHN CARLYLE SPRINT - C2 - 310	Into the bend UTTER MADNESS ran outwards checking BEAUTIFUL MOMENT, THEMELO and HOMEBUSH CARLIN. They finished at the rear. FREDERICK BAXTER (JT McInerney) scratched at Christchurch GRC meeting on 12 August 2008. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 17 August 2008.
Race 11	BROCKLEBANK DRY CLEANERS STAKES - C3 - 310	HEZA LIL got on the heels of REPEAT OFFENDER into the bend coming back on KNOW FAITH, both losing ground. Turning for home TURBO PRINCE moved sharply outwards and was struck by KNOW BETTER and KNOW FAITH, all three losing their chances. ALECIA RELTUB (JT McInerney) scratched at Christchurch GRC meeting on 12 August 2008. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 17 August 2008.
Race 12	PRESIDENTS STAKES - C5 - 545	Soon after the jump NITRO MARTA was squeezed initially between ENDURO SKYE and SMASH PALACE losing ground before again being checked between SOLEMN PROMISE and RIPPING THE DEW. LOCHINVAR VUITON (MM Grant) left fore split quick. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 18 August 2008.
Race 13	RAINBOW PAINTS SPRINT - C3/4 - 310	WHISKY LEE GIRL was slow to jump and turning for home ran wide colliding with CHILE COMMAND. SAINT DANIEL (JT McInerney) veterinary certificate to be supplied. ETOILE NOIR (LH Anderton) withdrawn under Rule 63.10. No penalty. CAWBOURNE SAM (MM Grant) withdrawn under Rule 63.10. No penalty.
Race 14	ST KILDA VET SPRINT - C3/4 - 310	MOST ROYAL and CAWBOURNE BURST drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend CADBURY HAND ran outwards checking MICRO SISSY, KNOW GOOD and WHISKY BOY, these three losing all chance.
Race 15	WINTER SPRINT - C5 - 310	Turning for home an improving SAIGON LORD moved off the rail and into the path of ROYAL REPRIEVE, resulting in SAIGON LORD being clipped from behind and falling. STRATUS BEKELEE was checked as a result. A post race veterinary check on SAIGON LORD revealed nothing amiss.
