Judicial report: Weather: Wet LA GRANT was fined $50.00 after admitting a charge under Rule 71.4, after failing to catch CANABY in Race 5 as arranged with trainer RD BLACKBURN.
Inquiries are to be conducted into matters/comments between various parties during and after preparation for Races 19 and 20.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C3/4 - 295 SAINT DANIEL was slow to jump from the outside box. Into the bend CHILE LOPEZ was squeezed, hit the running rail and bounced out and collided with ROCKY POCKETS and SAINT DANIEL who were checked. Into the straight ROCKY POCKETS and CHILE LOPEZ came together. CHILE LOPEZ was subject to a post race veterinary examination but was found to be uninjured. VULCAN EARL (JT McInerney) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 7 August 2008. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 16 August 2008 LOCHINVAR LOUIS (MM Grant) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 7 August 2008. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 20 August 2008.
Race 2 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP SPRINT - C1 - 295 Soon after the jump JANDERRA APACHE moved out and checked CHILE DAN and MULBERRY RECO. Around the bend JANDERRA APACHE climbed on ELLE VOLI who checked and went back on MULBERRY RECO.
Race 3 WWW.GREYHOUNDTIPS.CO.NZ STAKES - C0 - 520 GUINNESS LAD was slow to jump. Into the first bend TOYA and CONTINUE came together forcing TOYA to stumble and check MISS JALOUX. Into the back straight CONTINUE and TWICE AS HOT came together and GUINNESS LASS checked off TOYA. Into the straight TWICE AS HOT marred the running of CONTINUE both dogs losing all chance. TWICE AS HOT (KJ Cassidy) Rule 80.1 a. 28 days up to an including 8 September 2008 and to undertake a satisfactory trial.
Race 4 FOUR PAWS EASTGATE DASH - C1 - 295 KIWI YOUNG missed the jump badly and settled last. Into the bend GATLIN ANGEL moved out and hampered BOUNCEN BLITZEM and FACE OFF. BOLSTAD (JE Dunn) torn left fore muscle. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 21 days up to and including 31 August 2008.
Race 5 WWW.WILLYWHATATSTUD.COM STAKES - C0 - 520 Into the back straight UP TOWN LASS lay in on HOMEBUSH TREVOR. Soon after ARBUCKLE PARK checked off the heels of CARNABY losing ground.
Race 6 WILSONS SPORTS BAR DASH - C1/2 - 295 Into the bend HAMBURGER ran outwards and CASANRA BALE moved inwards resulting in checks to both dogs as well as PYRAMID EYES, HOMEBUSH BURT and ALL TIGER. CASANRA BALE ran on for second with the others losing all chance. FREDERICK BAXTER (JT McInerney)ate supplied. Rule 64.12. right fore wrist infected. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 17 August 2008. THRILLING FURY (RM McKenzie) starter in Race 14.
Race 7 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C3/4 - 295 HOMEBUSH DUNCAN missed the start badly. Into the home straight HOMEBUSH DUNCAN and KNOW GOOD came together at the back of the field.
Race 8 WWW.CONTAINERSDIRECT.CO.NZ STAKES - C3 - 520 Into the first bend PAINT THE STARS ran out and pushed BERT BADGER into the path of SCOTT NO TRACK who fell. SCOTT NO TRACK bounced to his feet and finished last. A post race veterinary checked revealed no injury.
Race 9 GARDEN CITY CHEM DRY DASH - C0 - 295 Soon after the jump CAWBOURNE HAPPY and ALTAIR bumped together. Soon after MICRON FIVE STAR moved out as runners came across from the outside resulting in the middle dogs FLYING ASPEN, HERE'S MAREE NOW, and THRILLING JAZZ being squeezed for racing room.
Race 10 PUB CHARITY STAKES - C1 - 295 In the run to the bend MUNGO lay in on DA COOLA. Soon after MUNGO and THRILLING RILEY came together checking the trailing COREY'S COMET. Into the straight DA COOLA checked off the heels of CATCH A DIVA and lost ground. ROBTITLE was slow to leave the boxes but then railed through to trail the leader into the straight before running away to win.
Race 11 TUESDAY PLACE PICK DASH - C1/2 - 295 Soon after the jump HOMEBUSH CARLIN, HIGHWAY BAXTER, CALLING COLLECT and UTTER MADNESS came together. Into the bend DANDALOO BLUE checked off the heels of SOLID HAND and ran wide taking CALLING COLLECT wide. Into the straight BANJO'S MISTAKE veered out and cannoned into DANDALOO BLUE. UPBEAT (MJ Flipp) bruised gracilus. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 24 August 2008.
Race 12 EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB STAKES - C4 - 520 Into the first bend HEAR THE CHEERS ran out and cannoned into the favourite WINSOME UNO who was badly checked loosing all chance.
Race 13 MURRAY @ RE/MAX PH 03 371 5005 DASH - C2/3 - 295 Soon after the start COCONUT ICE, KNOW FAITH and MOMENT came together.
Race 14 SSCHULTZ PANEL & PAINT DASH - C2/3 - 295 Into the bend KNOW GO and THRILLING FURY racing on the inside tangled. Soon after CALL ME improving on the outside checked off the heels of GO STRAIT THREW and came back on FINE ARTS who was badly checked. Into the straight HOMEBUSH ALIDA lost ground when she eased off the heels of CALL ME. THAT VIRUS (MM Grant) right shoulder injury. Rule 64.12. 28 days up to and including 7 September 2008. ALECIA RELTUB (JT McInerney) diarrhoea and dehydrated. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 17 August 2008. CHILE LOPEZ (GA Cleeve) starter in Race 1.
Race 15 PICK 6 LEG 1 - C5 - 295 Soon after the jump PIZZA GIRL and ROYAL REPRIEVE came together. Soon after MISSING BEAN and ROYAL REPRIEVE bumped. Into the bend ROYAL REPRIEVE, PIZZA GIRL and RIGHTLY ACCUSED tangled with RIGHTLY ACCUSED badly unbalanced. RIGHTLY ACCUSED ran to the outside of the track and eased but continued and finished the race. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured hock with a 28 day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH CASTOR (JT McInerney) right fore muscle tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 24 August 2008. HISTORIUM (J&D Fahey) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 7 August 2008. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 20 August 2008. RIGHTLY ACCUSED (CJ Weir) fractured hock. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 8 September 2008.
Race 16 FLAIR STAKES - HEAT 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 Into the first bend ROBBITY BOB ran out and checked KNOW BEST and MOUNT RILEY. KNOW BEST went back to last but mounted a big late run to get up for fourth.
Race 17 FLAIR STAKES - HEAT 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 IRINKA RALPH was slow to leave the boxes and drifted to a clear last where he stayed. At the end of the back straight DON THE HOP tightened ANYTIME SOON before running on to be fifth.
Race 18 FLAIR STAKES - HEAT 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 Racing into the back HATIPOV eased out and contacted with LAGOON MONROE and NITRO PEGGY who were checked.
Race 19 THE MILLER BAR & CAFE DASH - C5 - 295 MADAME JO JO was slow to jump and settled back. Across the top HOMEBUSH AUSSIE moved across and checked BACHELOR and MADAME JO JO who dropped out to fill the last three placings.
Race 20 SPEIGHTS SIX PACK STAKES - C5 - 520 Into the first bend CRAFTY FLYNN was squeezed for room in the inside and drifted back to last before railing through on the home turn to go between runners and grab third.
