Judicial report: Weather: Cold and overcast An inquiry was opened and adjourned under Rule 64.2. into the scratching of HATIPOV (JR Goode) from Race 5.

Race 1	BROCKLEBANK DRY CLEANERS STAKES - C0 - 545	WILLY MINA ran inwards after the start badly checking WEE SHADOW and KAIAPOI FIRST. Into the first bend BLOOMING MABEL was tightened losing ground.
Race 2	GREEN ISLAND BARBER SHOP SPRINT - C5 - 310	HOMEBUSH CASTOR was slow to jump. Into the bend PIZZA GIRL was tightened by dogs on her outer falling as a result with chacks to SAMUAL BAXTER and an improving HOMEBUSH CASTOR. PIZZA GIRL regained her feet to finish the race. She and SAMUAL BAXTER were subject to veterinary checks with no injuries detected. BACHELOR (JT McInerney) diarrhoea and high temperature. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 25 July 2008.
Race 3	PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL SPRINT - C0 - 310	Into the bend CAWBOURNE HAPPY and UP TOWN LASS came together with both being checked. JODIE BALE ran wide as a result. LIAM BALE who was slow to jump improved alonmg the rail before checking out of MUNGO'S hindquarters losing ground. He finished 2nd to MUNGO. THRILLING JAZZ (DR Kingston) right fore foot laceration. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 26 July 2008.
Race 4	SPEEDPRINT SHOP STAKES - C1/2 - 545	HANDSOME HAND and ARTERIAL BALE were slow to jump. ARTERIAL BALE improved quickly around the field before coming together with GROOVIN'BAIN into the back straight losing momentum.
Race 5	RAINBOW PAINTS SPRINT - C1 - 310	From the jump HAILSTONE HERB ran down to the rail and checked the running of WORLD WARNING and then into the turn forced WORLD WARNING to glance off the running rail and lose all chance. COREYS COMET ran outwards in the run to the turn and came into contact with BREENYS GIRL with KAIWERA SARAH checked to the rear where she never recovered to finish last. SOLID HAND (R Adcock) strained left hind thigh muscle. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 27 July 2008. HATIPOV (JR Goode) Rule 64.5. 28 days up to and including 15 August 2008.
Race 6	BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING STAKES - C3/4 - 545	NORTH INGILL TAB and FREDDIE SAGE were slow to jump. Both finished midfield.
Race 7	KEYOSK SERVICE BAR SPRINT - C5 - 310	WHISKY LEE GIRL was tightened soon after the jump. Into the bend VALKYRIE and LOCHINVAR LOUIS came together with LOCHINVAR LOUIS losing ground.
Race 8	WWW.GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C5 - 545	RIPPING THE DEW was slow to jump settling last. Into the first bend BAXTERS LAD who was vying for the lead moved away from the rail checking SMASH PALACE and NITRO MARTA on his outer with resulting checks to the balance of the field with the exception of RIPPING THE DEW who received a charmed run along the rail to take the lead before entering the back straight which he never surrendered.
Race 9	WOBBLY'S SPRINT - C2 - 310	ROBTITLE was slow to jump. Into the bend PINBALL WIZARD, FLOJO FLYER and CHILE TIME were tightened as CAWBOURNE BURST moved down towards the rail. UTTER MADNESS (Hart/Taylor) scratched at Southlasnd GRC on 17 July 2008. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 25 July 2008.
Race 10	RACING AGAIN MONDAY 28 JULY SPRINT - C4 - 310	HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was slow to jump and improved along the rail to finish 5th. VULCAN EARL (JT McInerney) diarrhoea and high temperature. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12 7 days up to and including 27 July 2008.
