Race 2	GREYHOUNDS AS PETS SPRINT - C0 - 318	ONSET ran outwards on the bend checking the favourite BIGTIME COOL who lost ground and never recovered.
Race 3	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS SPRINT - C4 - 318	All clear. SUISSA (GN Pomeroy) gum infection and on antibiotics. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 17 July 2008. WAITAK THUNDER (LJ Laagland) left gastrocnemius muscle. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 21 July 2008.
Race 4	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - C2 - 318	TENNYSON MISS was tightened into the bend between BIGTIME LEGEND and EYES A TITLE checking THRILLING FORCE as she drifted. These two dogs tailed the field home. A post race veterinary check of TENNYSON MISS revealed a dislocated left hind toe with a twenty one day stand down recommended. TENNYSON MISS (GN Pomeroy) dislocated left hind metatarso phalangeal joint. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 2 August 2008.
Race 5	$30,000 PICK SIX STAKES - C1/2 - 527	DRILLING DAM, SHEA SHERIE and THRILLING SYD were all slow to jump. DRILLING DAM and THRILLING SYD remained at the rear but SHEA SHERIE steadily made up ground to run away for a convincing win. THAT GIRL was checked at the end of the back straight recovering to finish third.
Race 6	LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY STAKES - C1 - 527	SUB THIRTY checked outwards off SAN SHIN into the first bend checking kennelmate POSITIVE GOLD who lost a couple of lengths. CANYA RUMBA JACK drifted to the rear and remained there throughout. A post race veterinary check revealed deep gluteal muscle pain with a fourteen day stand down recommended. CANYA RUMBA JACK (G Calverley) deep gluteal muscle injury. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 26 July 2008.
Race 7	CAROL'S TABS SPRINT - C5 - 318	AGENT VICKI and CAWBOURNE KERRY came together into the bend losing momentum.
Race 8	THORNTON AUCTIONS SPRINT - C3/4 - 318	THRILLING RIDDLE came across to the rail soon after the jump taking the line of BLACK BOOK and WINSOME STATE who drifted to the rear. PUNISH received a check into the bend and dropped out to last.
Race 9	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C4/5 - 527	JUDDY was checked in between RIALTO ROSIE and THRILLING NEO into the first bend and lost many lengths drifting to the rear. CYCLONE PRESTO (NP Green) right longhead triceps muscle tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 20 July 2008.
Race 10	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL SIX PACK - C1 - 318	Favourite WINSOME WISH was slow away then dropped right away on the bend to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed a hock strain with a fourteen day stand down recommended. The dog was also ordered to complete a satisfactory trial before racing again. WINSOME WISH (DD Schofield) right hock strain. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 26 July 2008. Also ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial.
