| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 305 | THRILLING LARK and THRILLING PAGE collided when jumping from the boxes and they settled at the rear and finished well back. MADAM MOLLY was checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 2 | MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 520 | As the field jumped from the boxes WHATA FLOWER ran straight across the face of the field and marred GOES SCIRROCCO causing this dog to fall but he recovered his feet to finish the race beating two runners home WHATA FLOWER has been stood down for twenty eight days under rule 80.1.a and must pass a satisfactory trial under rule 81.1 before racing again WHATA FLOWER D Little Marring Rule 80.1a. 28 days stand down to and including 29.07.08. to complete a satisfactory trial under rule 81.1. |
| Race 3 | GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C1 - 305 | After leaving the boxes BIGTIME WORLD and SEXY GIRL SUTTON came together squeezing MY PIGGY BANK out to the rear. On the home turn BIGTIME ENCORE came over on to KENT JEWEL for a couple of strides. |
| Race 4 | GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C1 - 305 | BIGTIME KATE was very slow to leave the boxes losing several lengths, but ran on in to 5th placing at the post. |
| Race 5 | GEON WELLINGTON - C0 - 520 | Soon after the start JENNIMORE came out to the centre of the track and in doing so checked HARVEST and TINY PRANCER for a few strides. JENNIMORE dropped back through the field and race poorly at the rear there after. |
| Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520 | As the field raced in to the first turn there was tightening on the inside dogs as RAPPER NEWY came across resulting in THRILLING ACE running up on the hindquarters of GOOD CATCH who was almost pulled down at that point. GOOD CATCH lost ground steadily from that point on and finished some distance behind the field. GOOD CATCH was observed to be lame in behind and was sent for a veteinary examination and was stood down for 7 days with soreness in the hind leg muscles. GUILTY VERDICT Ex Wanganui on 27.06.08 GOOD CATCH Woolston-Bell & Heath Muscle soreness right hand leg. Rule 82.1. 7 days stand down to and including 8.07.08. |
| Race 7 | WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C1 - 305 | Soon after the start there was tightning for several strides resulting in SOLITAIRE STAR coming out off the rail and making contact with FLYBY JOEY with both dogs being checked back to the rear and they never got back in to the race from there on in . |
| Race 8 | WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520 | ACCUSER(fav) was slow away and attempted to make ground up on the rail and was checked back by HOME BUSH BOND who received a check from SEDGEBROOK GOLD as they raced to the end of the back stretch. This cost ACCUSER valuable ground at that point and he ran on late for 5th placing at the post. |
| Race 9 | PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHER - C1 - 305 | As the field raced in to the first turn RAMROD REASON was forced to change ground outwards to avoid the heels of ICAN DRIBBLE RAMROD REASON then raced wide across the top bend and ran on well for 4th placing at the finish. JILL M.Lozell Rule 64 Suffering from an infected toe injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 05.07.08. |
| Race 10 | THE RADIO WORKS - INV - 305 | As the field raced in to the first turn there was jostling between several runners, resulting in WHISPERING HOME coming out off the rail on to BUGIN THE JUG who came out underneath CAWBOURNE LOLA. CAWBOURNE LOLA galloped up on the back of BUGIN THE JUG and these two dogs were severly checked and went back to the rear and fininshed in the last two placings. CAWBOURNE LOLA was sent for a veterinary examination and was found to have suffered lacerations to her hind legs requiring a 6 days stand down. BUGIN THE JUG was sent for a veterinary examination where he was found to have suffered muscle sorenesss to hindquarters and a 7 days stand down was imposed.
