Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer SL Ross was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when CLOSE COMBAT weighed in at 34.3 kgs which was 1.1 kgs under its last race weight on 22 June 2008.

Race 1	CAROL'S TABS SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	YES MISS and CONTAGEN were slow to leave the traps.
Race 2	PELORUS TRUST MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 318	LAST RIDE appeared to stumble on leaving the boxes losing ten lengths and its chance. Into the bend ULTRA MAGNUS was tightened by THRILLING JAZZ as she crossed from the outside. ULTRA MAGNUS was also clipped by MYREEN soon after dropping out to finish well back.
Race 3	CAROL'S TABS SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	COLERIDGE ANDIE and BIGTIME SNOWIE came together in the early rush and lost ground. Soon after EYES A TITLE ran outwards checking CENTRAL CYRUS, COLERIDGE ANDIE and BIGTIME SNOWIE with all of these dogs losing ground. CENTRAL CYRUS did very well to finish second. THRILLING CHESS (BDF Craik) right carpal sprain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 5 July 2008.
Race 4	RODEWALD HART BROWN SPRINT - C4 - 318	NEW CLEAR POWER was slow to jump. Tightening from outside dogs into the bend caused checks to THERMOSTATIC, NUTTY SQUIRREL and MOHICAN HARRY with these runners losing ground. Shortly after NUTTY SQUIRREL and MOHICAN HARRY again came together with an improving NEW CLEAR POWER being pushed wide at this stage.
Race 5	GUADA FIESTA BAR STAKES - C2 - 527	HUCKY HUCK ran outwards soon after the jump causing tightening to SATSUMA, THRILLING SKITZ and BIGTIME TEDDY. On the first bend SATSUMA and THRILLING SKITZ came together as did BIGTIME TEDDY and MOST EXCUSED soon after. At the lure THRILLING SKITZ fell and was trodden on by following dogs. A post race veterinary check revealed an injured left hind digit and possible cramp with a five day stand down recommended. THRILLING SKITZ (SP Clark) left hind digit injury. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 3 July 2008.
Race 6	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT FEATURE - C3 - 318	Permission was granted for THRILLING TASHA to be boxed first as this dog had proved troublesome at the boxes at its last few starts. HOT DOC was checked into the first band as LAURETANA BOY moved away from the rail.
Race 7	GREYHOUNDS NORTH MAIDEN DISTANCE - C0dq - 603 Heat 1	All clear. THRILLING CHESS (BDF Craik) right carpal sprain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 5 July 2008. VIRTUOSO (PW Cleaver) dog retired after injuries during last race.
Race 8	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C4/5 - 527	ANOTHER PRIDE ran inwards at the jump checking KILLER TOUCH and EXPRESS RHODE who both dropped to the rear. EXPRESS RHODE fell at the lure with his front leg appearing to get caught between the lure and netting. A post race veterinary check on EXPRESS RHODE revealed left fore digit laceration and pad injuries with a twenty one day stand down recommended. SHE'S TOO COOL (DD Schofield) left fore infected wound carpus. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 3 July 2008. EXPRESS RHODE (W Steele) left fore digit laceration and injury to pads. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 19 July 2008.
Race 9	CAROL'S TABS SPRINT - HEAT 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	CEDI SPECIAL was very slow to jump.
Race 10	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL SIX PACK - C5 - 318	GO NOW crossed to the rails soon after the jump checking SAVAGE CONQUEST who lost ground and its chance. On the bend SYDENHAM SMITH ran off the rail and pushed an improving BLACK SPOT PRANG on to KEROMA ASSASSIN with these two dogs losing their chances. THRILLING POWER was pushed wide in this incident.
