Judicial report: Weather: Fine S BARBER, representing the J&D FAHEY kennels was fined $50.00 after pleading guilty to a charge under Rule 71.4 for failing to ensure a catcher was present to catch CYBER BLUE, a starter in Race 8 .

Race 1 PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL MAIDEN - C0 - 545 Down the back straight SLIGHTLY FOXED struck the hindquarters of CREEKS TO SMART losing ground. They filled the last two placings. BANJO'S MISTAKE (J&D Fahey) sore in left metacarpal area. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 22 June 2008. HERE'S MAREE NOW (J&D Fahey) sore left hip. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 22 June 2008. LITTLE FAST (P&B Conner) sore right hip. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 27 June 2008.
Race 2 KEYOSK SERVICE BAR STAKES - C1 - 545 From the jump BIBI DAHL crossed over and forced AQUIT into DIAMOND ELITE with DIAMOND ELITE then colliding with KARAMEA LABRI . Whilst BIBI DAHL ran on for third, the other three dogs lost all chances and finished at the rear of the field.
Race 3 BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING STAKES - C1 - 545 HIDDEN SECRETS and MOA HUNTER came together soon after the start. Around the first bend LAGOON TALLIS checked out off BOTANY JIM taking BE POSITIVE wide on the track. Across the top AGENT BOND and BOTANY JIM came together both losing ground.
Race 4 SPEEDPRINT SHOP STAKES - C3 - 545 NORTH INGILLTAB, BETTYSUE BALE, NITRO JAKE and SMART THOMAS were checked into the first bend as KERNAHAN moved down toward the rail.
Race 5 www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C4 - 310 CAWBOURNE SAM and ALECIA RELTUB were checked into the bend losing ground.
Race 6 BROCKLEBANK DRY CLEANERS STAKES - C4/5 - 545 Favourite WINSOME BLITZ was slow to jump and was last into the first bend, and when improving into the back straight checked off the rear of SMASH PALACE before running on late for third. Into the first turn RONRAY COMMAND pushed outwards and checked the running of COSMIC ZEUS with both dogs losing ground to fill the last two placings. ROMAN HOME (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with gastro enteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 3 days up to and including 21 June 2008.
Race 7 NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES # 20 HEAT 1 - RESq - 545 Heat 1 FANTA CLAWS was dragged down by BOATSWAIN WALLY around the first bend when moving out into that dog's racing line, and taking no further part in the race. A post race veterinary check revealed soreness in the right hind leg with a 5 day stand down recommended. Approaching the home turn PARANOVA and STARLIGHT JEWEL came together losing ground. FANTA CLAWS (J&D Fahey) right hind soreness. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 23 June 2008.
Race 8 NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES # 20 HEAT 2 - RESq - 545 Heat 1 All clear.
Race 9 SOUTHERN SPRINT FINAL - SPECf - 310 Into the bend the favourite SMART WAVES struck the hindquarters of CHILE WILL HE drifting quickly through the field and checking FOUL PLAY. CHILE WILL HE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a split right hind webbing with a 14 day stand down recommended. CHILE WILL HE (GA Cleeve) split webbing right hind. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 2 July 2008.
Race 10 GO THE ALL BLACKS STAKES - C5 - 310 The favourite PIZZA GIRL was tightened into the bend between ANOTHER LAUREL and MISSING BEEN losing all chance. LOCHINVAR LOUIS (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 20 June 2008.
