BIGTIME MISS then moved out in the home straight and pushed HOT SPICEY BOY wide. BIGTIME MISS was examined by the Vet and found to have muscle soreness with a 14 day stand down recommended. However, BIGTIME MISS was found not to have pursued the lure and was stood down for 3 months for a 2nd offence. ONE LESSON was examined by the Vet and found to be suffering from thigh muscle bruising but ONE LESSON was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b for not pursuing the lure and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. RUNAWAY ROSCO, HUTTPARK FLYER and GUILTY VERDICT bumped together and lost ground on the home turn but were out of contention at the time and they finished in the rear group. KID DELANEY began well but was checked on the first corner and again on the first bend but recovered well to finish in 3rd place. ACCUSER Ex Manawatu on 16.06.08. He then made up some ground but appeared to falter entering the final bend and dropped out to finish several lengths last. BANDANNA LEE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
