Into the bend GRANT A DREAM was squeezed out and checked when racing between SUNSET PUZZLE and PAUL BAXTER. Into the straight PAUL BAXTER and GLEN ABBEY MOON bumped for a few strides when back in the field. |
Race 7 | DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY DASH - C4 - 295 | Into the bend MICRO SISSY checked off the heels of KNOW BETTER and moved into the path of BOY GENIUS who was forced out onto HOMEBUSH MATE with a resultant check to the trailing ROCKY POCKETS. As a result of these runners moving wide the trailing VULCAN EARL was allow to rail through and finish on for third. |

Soon after WILL SHE ECHO and JACKALICIOUS came together. The favourite MISS KOONAWARRA was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |
Race 9 | SBS BANKING DISTANCE - C1/2d - 645 | ELARA jumped to the front from an inside box but after leading into the first bend went amiss and tailed the field. A post race veterinary examination revealed a right shoulder triceps tear with a 14 day stand down recommended. ELARA (J&D Fahey) right shoulder triceps injury.
