Judicial report: Weather: Fine GA CLEEVE was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when KNOW GLORY, a starter in Race 2 weighed in 1.3kgs under her last race start weight.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C4 - 295 THAT VIRUS was slow to jump settling last. Around the bend GROOVY CARLA lost ground to finish at the rear. She was subject to a vet check which revealed nothing amiss. NICCA NOTCH (MJ Flipp) temperature. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 15 June 2008.
Race 2 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP STAKES - C3 - 520 WINSOME CYCLONE and PYRAMID EYES were slow to jump, settled back and stayed there.
Race 3 WWW.GREYHOUNDTIPS.CO.NZ STAKES - C3/4 - 520 Into the first bend LOCHINVAR VUITON moved out just as RONRAY COMMAND improved around the outside with the result that LYRICAL BALE and RIGHTLY ACCUSED racing in the centre were squeezed and checked.
Race 4 SPEIGHTS 6 PACK - C5 - 520 TURBINE BALE jumped inwards soon after the start and bumped SMASH PALACE who went back to the tail of the field and stayed there.
Race 5 2008 HARDING CUP FINAL - C5f - 295 Into the bend STRATUS BEKELEE was badly checked when GRANT A FORTUNE ran outwards forcing STRATUS BEKELEE onto SAIGON LORD.
Race 6 WWW.CANTERBURYPROPERTY.CO.NZ STAKES - C3/4 - 520 Soon after the start SUNSET PUZZLE and PAYTON BALE collided. Into the bend GRANT A DREAM was squeezed out and checked when racing between SUNSET PUZZLE and PAUL BAXTER. Into the straight PAUL BAXTER and GLEN ABBEY MOON bumped for a few strides when back in the field.
Race 7 DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY DASH - C4 - 295 Into the bend MICRO SISSY checked off the heels of KNOW BETTER and moved into the path of BOY GENIUS who was forced out onto HOMEBUSH MATE with a resultant check to the trailing ROCKY POCKETS. As a result of these runners moving wide the trailing VULCAN EARL was allow to rail through and finish on for third.
Race 8 WILLWHATATSTUD.COM CANTERBURY LAURELS FINAL - R/Af - 520 Soon after the jump SALLY BAXTER improved across from an outside draw and checked the favourite MISS KOONAWARRA and SMART JOSEPHINE. Soon after WILL SHE ECHO and JACKALICIOUS came together. The favourite MISS KOONAWARRA was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 9 SBS BANKING DISTANCE - C1/2d - 645 ELARA jumped to the front from an inside box but after leading into the first bend went amiss and tailed the field. A post race veterinary examination revealed a right shoulder triceps tear with a 14 day stand down recommended. ELARA (J&D Fahey) right shoulder triceps injury. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 25 June 2008.
Race 10 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C5 - 295 REMUS, RUDI JEWEL, ANGELITO and PRAISE BE came together into the bend losing all chance. They finished at the rear.
