Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer RD BLACKBURN was fined $50.00 after pleading guilty to a charge under Rule 71.4 when she failed to ensure a Handler was available to catch BE POSITIVE, a starter in Race 10.
RM McKENZIE was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when LOFFHAGEN, a starter in Race 9 weighed in 1.4kgs under her last race start weight.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C2 - 295 KNOW TITLE was found to be lame when walking onto the track prior to the race. A veterinary check revealed lameness in the right hind leg, with KNOW TITLE being declared a late scratching at 12.0 am. Into the bend THEMELO was tightened for room on the rail and then checked out off the heels of PINBALL WIZARD to drop to the rear.When racing handy PINBALL WIZARD checked off the heels of SCARLETT EMPRESS and lost several lengths before recovering to finish fourth. KNOW TITLE (GA Cleeve)was a late scratching when found lame in her right hind leg. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 16 June 2008.
Race 2 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP SPRINT - C1 - 295 Into the bend GATLIN ANGEL, racing in tight quarters, was checked as CHILE TIME and DASH DOT DASH improved around the outside. Unbalanced GATLIN ANGEL got on the heels of NICKER TIME and fell. GATLIN ANGEL was subject to a veterinary inspection which revealed no injury.
Race 3 YALDHURST TAVERN DASH - C1 - 295 Soon after the start MOJAVE MICK and HANSOME HARRY came together. Into the bend NOSE MY TITLE ran out and forced RAZOR BLADE into the path of LEO'S BOY who climbed on his hindquarters. As a result both dogs were checked and ran wide taking CHILE DAN with them, filling the last three placings. NOSE MY TITLE who finished third ran into the lure at an acute angle catching his muzzle on the drive wheel of the lure. He was removed from the wheel by his trainer and S McInerney. A post race veterinary check revealed a left fore 5th toe dislocation and an abrasion above the eye with a 28 day stand down recommended. NOSE MY TITLE (P&B O'Connor) left fore 5th toe dislocation. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to an including 7 July 2008.
Race 4 WWW.GREYHOUNDTIPS.CO.NZ STAKES - C0 - 520 Into the bend DELUSIONIST ran out and took TIGER BALM wide on the track.
Race 5 TUESDAY PLACE PICK - C2 - 295 SCRAP METALMAN ran outwards into the bend tightening NGAWI BAY and WILLY ECHO. They finished at the rear.
Race 6 ANGLERS ARMS SEFTON SPRINT - C1 - 295 FINE ARTS tightened BOUNCEN BLITZEM and SOICHIRO who both lost ground checking BY GORRIE DORRIE and HOMEBUSH ERNIE. THRILLING EADIE ran into the back of BREENYS GIRL who was momentarily held up in this incident. HOMEBUSH HOUDINI (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 13 June 2008.
Race 7 NUTRI-ZING DASH - C3 - 295 Into the bend FREDERICK BAXTER moved off the rail causing BELLY GIRL and MOST ROYAL to check back. Soon after BERT BADGER and CALLING COLLECT came together and ran wide on the track losing all chance.
Race 8 EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB STAKES - C1 - 520 ROBTITLE was a stride slow to leave the boxes. Soon after the start BOTANY ALICE, CYBER QUEEN and DEAR ABBEY tangled losing ground. Into the straight when disputing the lead well clear of the field ALL TIGER and the favourite DIAMOND MILL tangled with DIAMOND MILL dropping back before recovering to hold second.
Race 9 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C0 - 295 CLAN SLITHER, WORLD WARNING and FACE OFF came together sustaining bad checks and badly checking a trailing JEALOUS GUY. WORLD WARNING finished 3rd with the others at the rear. WORLD WARNING was reported as being difficult to box and was declared a 'boxed first' dog and the registration papers endorsed accordingly.
Race 10 PICK 6 LEG 1 - C1 - 520 Into the bend BETHELLS BABE and CLAN CRUSADER collided. Soon after KAIWERA SARAH and BOTANY JIM tangled. A stride later BOTANY JIM and CLAN CRUSADER came together. BE POSITIVE was clipped from behind RAGIN CAJUN losing ground. Across the top an improving BOTANY JIM was checked when he climbed on CLAN CRUSADER going back two lengths before flying home for a close second.
Race 11 SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE SPRINT - C1 - 295 Into the bend MCMANNUS was tightened by PANGO WILL HE dropping back to midfield. VINTAGE TOKEN (CJ Weir) infected right fore foot. Veterinary cetificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 13 June 2008.
Race 12 HAMPDEN TAVERN STAKES - C1 - 520 Into the first bend SOUTHERN MAGIC, BYE BYE HELEN and MOUNT RILEY came together losing ground.
Race 13 FLAIR STAKES - C1 - 520 Into the first bend ZORRO MAN checked off the heels of BIBI DAHL and dropped back.
Race 14 THE MILLER BAR & CAFE DASH - C3 - 295 BELL ROXON ran outwards into the bend running wide into the home straight. Around the bend MR.PROVOCATIVE forced SWIFT TOKEN outwards which in turn forced BLACK INN BRAVE and ROSE OF TARLEE wide on the track. SWIFT TOKEN then rolled back toward the rail checking THRILLING FURY.
Race 15 SPEIGHTS 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520 GROOVIN'BAIN and JACKALICIOUS were tightened by REPEAT OFFENDER soon after the start. Around the first bend JALISCO and SMART SHARMILA came together losing momentum. WITH A RHYTHM (LJ Waretini) right hip pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 15 June 2008.
