Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C2/3 - 305	CAWBOURNE BANDIT was checked in the race to the first corner and dropped back to finish in last place.
Race 2	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C4 - 305	All clear. THRILLING PIPER Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffered soreness to a tricep muscle and stood down for 5 days to and including 10.06.08.
Race 3	KEENAN CONCRETE - C2/3 - 520	BETTYSUE BALE was handy to the first corner but was bumped, lost momentum and never reovered the lost ground and finished in 5th place. WORK RELEASE was handy to the final bend but was checked and lost several lengths and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 4	SPION ROSE CUP - HEAT 1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	All clear.
Race 5	NEW ZEALAND BREEDERS SEMI FINAL - R/A - 520	The race was abandoned after the lids opened prematurely and most of the field ran a full circuit before being captured. It was found that a spring had lost tension and it was replaced. As this was a heat, the dogs to go through to the final were selected as per Rule 76.7.
Race 6	NEW ZEALAND BREEDERS SEMI FINAL - R/A - 520	LOTTO BALLS was checked and lost ground on the first corner but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 7	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C4/5 - 520	THRILLING ELROY was handy on the home turn but was struck from behind by ANDY D'GANDY and almost fell. THRILLING ELROY then dropped back to finish in 3rd last place.
Race 8	SPION ROSE CUP - HEAT 3 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	All clear.
Race 9	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4 - 305	The inside catch on the box lids failed to hold as the lure approached and the lids opened very slightly on that side but it could not be conclusively established that any runner had been affected by this. As a result the payment of dividends was authorized. MISSING BEEN, HILLYS TIP and KEROMA ASSASSIN were a little slow to begin and settled back. POLSKA was handy on the first corner but was checked, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. MISSING BEEN and THRILLING GAME were checked on the home turn and finished near the rear.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4 - 305	THRILLING GYPSY, SWEET SECRET and BIGTIME RETRO bumped together for several strides early in the race and settled well back. HAZEM EL MAGIC ran onto the heels of CRYSTAL SAL on the bend and went back onto BIGTIME ROYALE and SWEET SECRET and they never recovered and finished in the last three places.
