Health and Safety comment: Peter DOWNES drove the lure in all 310 metre races in assisting the regular lure driver Ken McFarlane. This now gives the club two competent lure drivers.

Judicial report: Weather: Fine RM McKENZIE was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 69.1 when THRILLING FURY, a starter in Race 4 weighed in 1.8kgs under his last race start weight.

Race 1 PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL MAIDEN SPRINT - C0 - 310 Into the bend WICKED WAYS moved away from the rail and tightened MOODY BLUE and then out onto MUNGO, both dogs suffering checks and losing all chance filling the last two placings.
Race 2 BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING SPRINT - C4 - 310 All clear
Race 3 KEYOSK SERVICE BAR STAKES - C1 - 545 TORY CHANNEL was a stride slow to leave the boxes. Into the first bend APACHE MOHAWK checked off heels and lost momentum. Into the straight APACHE MOHAWK was held up when trying to improve but ran on solidly once clear.
Race 4 SOUTHERN SPRINT HEAT 1 - SPECq - 310 Heat 1 KNOW SAY stumbled out of the boxes and lost ground. REMUS was squeezed out of the boxes and settled last but railed through on the first bend and ran home strongly for third. Soon after the start NICCA NOTCH and HOMEBUSH BUZZ came together. Into the bend NICCA NOTCH ran out and forced HOMEBUSH BUZZ onto THRILLING FURY and KNOW SAY who were forced very wide on the track.
Race 5 www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C2 - 545 Into the first bend BIONIC DREAM dived between TWO TICK JESSIE and REPEAT OFFENDER. BIONIC DREAM tightened TWO TICK JESSIE and these two dogs came out and knocked REPEAT OFFENDER sideways. In going back through the field BIONIC DREAM was hit from behind by SCRAP METALMAN, these two dogs dropping out to fill the last two placings. SOLEMN PROMISE was held up momentarily into the straight and then bumped with REPEAT OFFENDER before running into fourth place BIONIC DREAM was subject to a post race veterinary examination which revealed nothing was amiss . TRENDY OPAWA (MJ Flipp) right shoulder pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 June 2008.
Race 6 BROCKLEBANK DRY CLEANERS SPRINT - C4/5 - 310 BOTANY ROY and HOMEBUSH DARCY were a stride slow to leave the boxes. Into the bend KARL BAXTER and REDFERN FLASH came together with REDFERN FLASH checked and dropping out to last. Into the straight KARL BAXTER and AWESOME DEEJAY came together when racing back in the field with a resultant check to the trailing BOTANY ROY.
Race 7 GREEN ISLAND BARBER SHOP STAKES - C3 - 545 Soon after the start an improving HOMEBUSH BUBBLES was clipped from behind by BELL ROXON and stumbled. Into the bend NORTH INGILL TAB, BELL ROXON and PYRAMID EYES came together losing ground. Into the back straight KERNAHAN and HOMEBUSH BUBBLES collided. Into the straight FIERY FALCON dropped back quickly when vying for second between SCOTT NO TRACK and HOMEBUSH BUBBLES losing all chance.
Race 8 SPEEDPRINT SHOP STAKES - C4/5 - 545 Soon after the start WINSOME BLITZ ran out and tightened WINSOME SHOW who dropped back to midfield and stayed there.
Race 9 SOUTHERN SPRINT HEAT 2 - SPECq - 310 Heat 1 Soon after the start STOKER got on heels and eased back at the same time as KNOW BETTER was tightened for room. Into the bend GRANT A FORTUNE ran out and tightened KNOW BETTER and STOKER and forced HOMEBUSH CASTOR wide on the track.
