| Race 2 | TERRY RYAN TIMBER BATTLE OF THE SEXES - HEAT 1 - R/Aq - 318 Heat 1 | Favourite LONGFORD ANNIE was handy until the bend but dropped away to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed a right hip support muscle tear with a twenty one day stand down recommended. THRILLING PARIS got on the back of LONGFORD ANNIE into that bend and lost ground. FORWARD SOLUTION attempted to avoid this dog and checked outwards into the line of DEVIL'S COUNTY with these two dogs nearly falling and losing their chances. Post race veterinary checks of FORWARD SOLUTION and DEVIL'S COUNTY revealed no injury to FORWARD SOLUTION but a cut dew claw for DEVIL'S COUNTY. No stand down was deemed necessary. SUPER HOUND fell at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
