| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C1 - 305 | ARANUI JOKER and THOMAS THE TANK were checked on the first corner, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 2 | GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C2 - 305 | The favourite CAB DRIVER was slow to begin but then made ground on the rail until being tightened on the first corner and losing ground. CAB DRIVER then made up some ground to finish in 5th place. LUKE SAMMY ZAK, THRILLING BETH and JEWEL bumped together for several strides in the race to the first corner and they lost ground and finished in the last three places. |
| Race 3 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520 | GOLDEN MOVER was very slow to begin and tailed the field by several lengths and finished a long last. GOLDEN MOVER was examined by the Vet and found to be suffering from mild acidosis and at the Owners request GOLDEN MOVER was euthanased. The dogs handler M.McCook was reprimanded and was advised that under no circumstances should this have taken place on course. The Veterinarian was also reprimanded and advised that the euthanasia of GOLDEN MOVER should never have taken place on course under the circumstances. He was also advised that such a request should be advised to the Stewards in future. LAGOON FIFI moved in on the first corner and checked BORN ENTERTAINER who moved out and checked THRILLING TIFF who was forced wide on the bend. THRILLING MARIA A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from a deltoid muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 06.06.08. IT'S PERSONAL B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 24.06.08. Vet certificate to be supplied. THRILLING CHARM McCracken & Goldsack Rule 82 Suffering from acidosis and stood down for 5 days to and including 02.06.08. GOLDEN MOVER L.McCook Rule 82 Suffered mild acidosis and euthanased.at the Owners request. |
| Race 4 | MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 305 | DREAMS OF VISION faltered and dropped back on the first corner and soon after DADDY'S DESTINY also faltered and dropped back and they finished several lengths behind the other runners. Both dogs were examined by the Vet and DADDY'S DESTINY was euthanased due to a fractured hock. DREAMS OF VISION also suffered a fractured hock but an attempt will be made to save the dog. DREAMS OF VISION C.Morris Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and stood down for 28 days to and including 25.06.08. DADDY'S DESTINY R.O'Regan Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and euthanased. |
| Race 5 | GUTHRIE BOWRON - C2/3 - 520 | WHAT A STORY and THRILLING ELROY collided in the race to the first corner and WHAT A STORY lost several lengths and tailed the field for the remainder of the race. DEL TONES was bumped and pushed wide over extra ground on the first bend. NO DRAMA DON was tightened between runners and checked on the first bend but recovered to finish in 3rd place. | Race 6 | GEON WELLINGTON - C1 - 520 | ACCUSER jumped from the boxes looking to the inside for a stride and was given the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. ACCUSER and RAPPER NEWY collided soon after the start and settled at the rear. They also collided on the first bend and again on the final bend and they finished in the last two places. THRILLING HOLLY K.Walsh Rule 64 Suffering from a quadricep strain and stood down for 7 days to and including 03.06.08. |
