Judicial report: Weather: Fine RIVIERA CHIC (MM Grant) completed a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 72.13.
J&D FAHEY were fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when WINSOME UNO, a starter in Race 4, weighed in 1.2kgs above her last race start weight.
RD BLACKBURN was fined $100.00 after pleading guilty to a breach of Rule 43.7, as a result of nominating WILLY MINA for the NZ Breeders Heats, when inelligible to compete.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C1 - 295	All clear
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP SPRINT - C0 - 295	ELY BRAND was slow to leave thre boxes. Soon after the start LEO'S BOY and FACE OFF came together with FACE OFF losing ground before railing through in the straight to grab third place. KNOW FLIRT (GA Cleeve) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with left gluteal pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 6 June 2008.
Race 3	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C1 - 295	DASH DOT DASH was tightened into the first bend. RAZOR BLADE ran wide into the bend taking CHILE MAID with him, they filled the last two placings.
Race 4	SPEIGHTS 6 PACK - C1 - 520	The favourite WINSOME UNO was very slow to leave the boxes and settled a distant last. JACKPOT JACK was also slow to jump. WINSOME UNO improved quickly into the first bend colliding with CYBER QUEEN losing ground again. Soon after JACKPOT JACK moved out taking WINSOME UNO wide down the back straight. These dogs filled the last two placings. WINSOME UNO was subject to a post race veterinary examination which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 5	KOLORFUL KANVAS MAIDEN - HEAT 1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	KARAMEA LABRI was slow to leave the boxes. Into the bend CHESTNUT ran out and collided with GUNNA SMOKE, KARAMEA LABRI and LIVELY SPIRIT. GUNNA SMOKE lost ground but recovered quickly and ran home late for third, KARAMEA LABRI and LIVELY SPIRIT lost all chance and filled the last two placings.
Race 6	KOLORFUL KANVAS MAIDEN - HEAT 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	TICTAC MAN and TIGER BALM were slow away. Soon after the jump ANYTIME SOON ran out and contacted JEALOUS GUY and ARBUCKLE PARK. Into the bend ARBUCKLE PARK, attempting to get to the rail, collided heavily with ANYTIME SOON and was knocked sideways, almost falling. JEALOUS GUY was also hampered in this incident. ARBUCKLE PARK was subject to a post race veterinary examination which revealed a right fore quick tear with a 7 day stand down recommended. IMA BLUES BOY (JE Dunn) veterinary certificate to be supplied. ARBUCKLE PARK (MP Stewart) right fore quick tear. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 3 June 2008.
Race 7	NUTRI-ZING FEATURE - C2 - 520	Soon after the jump PYRAMID EYES attempted to run off the rail and crowded JACKALICIOUS, LOCHINVAR VOLCOM and REPEAT OFFENDER, JACKALICIOUS dropping out to last. In this same incident SCRAP METALMAN was tightened along the fence and soon after checked off the heels of LOCHINVAR VOLCOM and dropped out to last where he stayed. RIVIERA CHIC (MM Grant) stood down at Southland GRC on 26 May 2008 under Rule 72.13.
Race 8	WWW.CANTERBURYPROPERTY.CO.NZ DASH - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH ERNIE ran away from the rail into the home straight checking HOMEBUSH JOCK. They filled the last two placings.
Race 9	SCHULTZ PANEL & PAINT STAKES - C1 - 520	APACHE MOHAWK and CLAN DESPERADO collided into the first bend moving outwards and hitting BOTANY JIM. These dogs lost all chance and filled the last three placings. DIAMOND MILL (J&D Fahey) sprained left tarsus. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 5 June 2008.
Race 10	BE BACK FRIDAY NIGHT SPRINT - C1 - 295	MC MANNUS was slow to jump. CATCH A DIVA ran outwards after the jump checking SAINT DANIEL and WASABI GIRL. Into the home straight CHILE TIME and SAINT DANIEL collided with CHILE TIME sustaining a bad check to finish at the rear.
