Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer BC DANN was fined $50.00 when ALL LEFT OUT, a starter in Race 1, weighed in 1.3kgs above his last race start weight.
Trainer BC DANN was fined $100.00 when ALL TIGER, a starter in Race 4, weighed in 1.6kgs above his last race start weight.
Trainer MM Grant was fined $50.00 when THEMELO, a starter in Race 5, weighed in 1.2kgs under his last race start weight.

Race 1 ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 457 ALL LEFT OUT stumbled on leaving the boxes and was second last into the bend, but railed and ran on strongly for third. HALF DAY HOWLEY led to the bend but retreated quickly and in doing so impeded the running of MOODY BLUE and LITTLE FAST with all three dogs finishing at the rear. BLOOMING MABEL (M&J Hill) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 20 June 2008.
Race 2 SOUTHERN FLOOR CARE LTD - C1 - 390 HAILSTONE HIKRY was tightened by CLAN NOVA into the bend, losing ground before being checked again by ROBTITLE. HAILSTONE HIKRY finished last. BOY BUGLER (JF Allen) torn left rear 2nd toe nail. Rule 64.14. 28 days up to and including 20 June 2008.
Race 3 BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERN WIDE - C1 - 457 MOA HUNTER ran in after the jump colliding with MR JOLES and LAGOON TALLIS. MOA HUNTER ran on late to win with the other two at the rear.
Race 4 WWW.SOUTHLANDGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ - C1 - 390 McMANNUS and CLAN SAVIOUR lost all chance when checked soon after the start. Into the bend INDIANAPOLIS KID was checked when tightened by JANDERRA APACHE.
Race 5 OSBORNE ENGINEERING, BLUFF - C2 - 390 HOMEBUSH JUSTIN and THEMELO were slow to jump from the outside two boxes. THEMELO improved into the bend before being forced wide turning for home running on for 4th. HOMEBUSH JUSTIN finished at the rear.
Race 6 SOUTHLAND TIPPING COMPETITION - C2/3 - 390 RIVIERA CHIC turned in the boxes and missed the jump. He eventually finished 7th. She was ordered to undertake a box trial in accordance with Rule 72.13. Soon after the start HOMER HAND clipped CLAN MISTY who stumbled and almost fell. She lost all chance and finished 6th. OPAWA VANE who jumped to a clear lead from the boxes faultered into the bend drifting out to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed an injury to his left hock with a 28 day stand down recommended. SANDAVE (AD Williams) right fore flexor tear. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 6 June 2008. BEAUTIFUL MOMENT (JF Allen) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 20 June 2008. OPAWA VANE (JF Allen) left hock injury. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 22 June 2008. RIVIERA CHIC (MM Grant) to undertake a trial in accordance with Rule 72.13.
Race 7 ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1 - 457 BOTANY JIM lost his footing on jumping from the outside box settling a long last. He improved along the rail to finish 4th. Into the bend APACHE MOHAWK tightened THIS AND THAT and KAIWERA SARAH in his inner. THIS AND THAT checked outwards colliding with AGENT BOND who almost fell who in turn forced MR BONZALES wide to avoid the incident.
Race 8 SOUTHLAND GREYHOUND SERIES FINAL - C1f - 457 REPEAT OFFENDER jumped to the lead from the boxes. Into the bend he was tightened by BIONIC DREAM checking back on a trailing SOICHIRO, both losing ground to finish at the rear.
Race 9 ILT SPEIGHTS ALE HOUSE - C4 - 390 In the run to the turn THAT VIRUS crossed over to the rail and was clipped in the rear by SAMUAL BAXTER with HEZA LIL checked and going back on top of REMUS. THAT VIRUS, HEZA LIL and REMUS filled the last three places. BACHELOR (JT McInerney) right wrist swelling and pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 7 June 2008. THRILLING BECKY (P&B Conner) cut pad right fore 5th toe. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 27 May 2008.
Race 10 MAD BUTCHER, RICCARTON - C3/4 - 457 NORTH INGILLTAB was tightened soon after the start settling at the rear with SPACE HOPPER. LOCHINVAR VUITON (MM Grant) was a late scratching at kennelling when found mildly dehydrated and vomitting. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 3 days up to and including 28 May 2008.
