Judicial report: Weather: Wet RM McKENZIE was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when THRILLING FURY, a starter in Race 4, weighed in 1.7kgs above his last race start weight.
LEO'S BOY (JT McInerney) and WILLY MINA (RD Blackburn) completed a Satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 72.13.
WINSOME DOSH (J&D Fahey) completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 80.5.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C4 - 295 VULCAN EARL was slow to leave the boxes. Soon after the start BOBFRED was tightened by GROOVY CARLA. Into the bend GROOVY CARLA and KNOW WHAT came together when racing midfield, dropped out and filled the last two placings.
Race 2 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL-UP STAKES - C3 - 520 Soon after the jump KERNAHAN ran out and collided with PAYTON BALE and KNOW GLORY. Soon after PAYTON BALE and SCOTT NO TRACK came together. SCOTT NO TRACK finished 2nd with others unplaced. BUNNY BRASCH (M Robinson) late scratching at Christchurch on 20 May 2008. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 24 May 2008. SANDAVE (AD Williams) left shoulder soreness. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 25 May 2008.
Race 3 SPEIGHTS SIX PACK - C4 - 520 CHILE COMMAND and GLEN ABBEY MOON collided soon after the jump and came together again with PAUL BAXTER into the first bend. They finished midfield.
Race 4 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C3 - 295 BOY GENIUS was checked soon after the jump and he moved down to the rail, improving inside dogs to finish on for second. THRILLING FURY and FREDERICK BAXTER were checked into the bend losing ground to finish at the rear.
Race 5 www.canterburyproperty.co.nz DISTANCE - C2d - 645 GROOVY FINANCE and ACACIA CREEK were tightened soon after the start. GROOVY FINANCE ran on for second with ACACIA CREEK last.
Race 6 PUBLICANS CUP FINAL - C1f - 520 SOLEMN PROMISE and SMART JOSEPHINE were tightened soon after the start. Into the bend BETHELLS BABE and WINSOME FLYER were tightened losing ground. These dogs filled the last four placings.
Race 7 COASTERS TAVERN CANNONBALL SPRINT HEAT 1 - C5 - 295 KNOW SAY and MISSING BEEN came together soon after the start. ROCKY POCKETS was slow to jump. MICRO SISSY was tightened between dogs into the bend. He finished well back with the other three dogs.
Race 8 COASTERS TAVERN CANNONBALL SPRINT HEAT 2 - C5 - 295 MR FUGLES, SAIGON LORD and AMBER BEADLE came together soon after the jump, losing ground. They filled the last three placings.
Race 9 DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY STAKES - C5 - 520 Soon after the start LAGOON PHOENIX, WINSOME DAISY and GENISTA FLYER came together, losing ground and staying at the rear. SMASH PALACE (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 25 May 2008. ASAFA BALE (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with swelling to his left hind outside toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 31 May 2008.
Race 10 www.christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz SPRINT - C4 - 295 NICCA NOTCH was slow to jump and into the bend checked out off HEZA LIL running NITRO JAKE and LOCHINVAR LOUIS wide on the track. They filled the last three placings.
