Judicial report: Weather: Overcast AC ROBERTS was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when NIKOS PORSCHE, a starter in Race 2, weighed in 1.7kgs under his last race start weight.

Race 1 ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 390 GENTLE ANNIE moved inwards soon after the jump tightening dogs on her inner. Into the bend LEO'S BOY climbed on GENTLE ANNIE'S hindquarters resulting in her falling. MUNGO moved wide to avoid the incident. Into the home straight the favourite WASABI GIRL ran wide losing all chance. GENTLE ANNIE did not finish the race and a veterinary check revealed soreness to the left shoulder with a 14 day stand down recommended. GENTLE ANNIE (BA Eade) left shoulder sorenes from fall. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 28 May 2008.
Race 2 SOUTHLAND GREYHOUNDS SERIES - ROUND 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 BYE BYE HELEN stumbled shortly after jumping losing all chance. Into the bend CHILE MAID and the favourite FAST GROOVY collided moving outwards and impeding THRILLING QUIZ. FAST GROOVY finished on for 4th with the other two at the rear.
Race 3 BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERN WIDE - C0 - 457 CHESTNUT jumped awkwardly settling last. Into the bend BOTANY JIM struck WEE SHADOW'S hindquarters sustaining a bad check and losing all chance. Into the home straight WEE SHADOW ran outwards badly checking TRUSTEE who lost his balance.
Race 4 SOUTHLAND GREYHOUNDS SERIES - ROUND 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 MR JOLES was slow to jump. Into the bend APACHE MOHAWK ran inwards colliding with WILLY FLIRT, MR JOLES and WITH A RHYTHM. MR JOLES ran on well for 3rd with the others at the rear.
Race 5 SOUTHLAND TIPPING COMPETITION - C1 - 390 HOMEBUSH HOUDINI ran inwards after the start checking BASHEKA, INDIANAPOLIS KID and NOSE MY TITLE on his inner. Into the bend NOSE MY TITLE checked out off an improving CAWBOURNE SAM coming back on HOMEBUSH HOUDINI. CAWBOURNE BURST (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 16 May 2008.
Race 6 SOUTHLAND GREYHOUNDS SERIES - ROUND 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 OUT OF REACH, MOA HUNTER and AGENT BOND came together into the bend when racing at the rear. They finished well back.
Race 7 NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #18 DISTANCE FINAL - RESdf - 732 TIZZY LEE BUCKET, JIN JU and IS SHE FAST were tightened soon after the jump settling well back. TIZZY LEE BUCKET and ANYTIME SOON ran wide around the first bend losing ground. IS SHE FAST finished a long last. In the home straight TIZZY LEE BUCKET ran outwards and and marred SMART MIDDY. As a result TIZZY LEE BUCKET was stood down for 28 days and ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial. ROBBITY BOB (JR Goode) puncture wound to left thigh. Veterinary certificate supplied. 10 days up to and including 23 May 2008. HATIPOV (JR Goode) withdrawn under Rule 63.10. No penalty. TIZZY LEE BUCKET (CJ Morris) Rule 80.1.a. Stood down for 28 days up to and including 11 June 2008 and to undertake a satisfactory trial.
Race 8 SOUTHLAND GREYHOUNDS SERIES - ROUND 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 DIAMOND MILL was slow to jump. Soon after the start THRILLING EADIE was tightened losing ground. Into the bend MIRKOLA BALE when trying to improve along the rail came in contact with HANSOME HARRY, both losing ground.
Race 9 WWW.SOUTHLANDGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ - C2/3 - 390 NORTH INGILLTAB was slow to jump and when improving along the rail into the bend was held up due to no racing room. He swung wide into the straight and ran on late for a close up 5th.
Race 10 SOUTHERN FLOOR CARE LTD - C4/5 - 390 FINAL EPISODE was slow to jump settling last. Into the bend REMUS, LAUGARNO DENNIS and REBEL CASTE where checked in general tightening drifting out to fill the last three placings. SMART WAVES (R Casey) infected groin. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 22 May 2008.
