Race 1	RADIOWORKS MANAWATU - C0 - 375	TIMMY VINE was a little slow to begin and then had to check off the heels of POSTE HASTE on the first corner and lost ground. TIMMY VINE then recovered to win the race. FLYBY JOEY was checked on the bend and lost some ground. WHATA BOWLA Freeman & Turnwald Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering a split webbing and stood down for 10 days to and including 17.05.08.
Race 2	FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C0 - 457	On the top bend DRIVING FORWARD went out wide and took RED TERROR with him costing them both a lot of ground at that point.
Race 3	FIRST SOVEREIGN TRUST SCURRY - C3 - 375	MARC A BOOKIE and CHARLI'S ECHO collided in the first stride and MARC A BOOKIE stumbled, lost ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 4	MANAWATU SOUND SERVICE - C2 - 375	The favourite BANDANNA LEE disputed the lead to the first corner but then faded back through the field and finished in last place. BANDANNA LEE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. BLASTING POINT McCracken & Goldsack Rule 82 Suffered from bruising and abrasions to a hind leg and stood down for 5 days to and including 12.05.08.
Race 5	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C1 - 457	NATURE RULES ran in from the start and checked LECTROMAN who lost ground. NATURE RULES continued to move in and checked WOOD PIGEON and THRILLING CHASE on the first corner and they dropped back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. JIMMY THUNDER W.Morris Rule 64 Suffering from a kidney infection and stood down for 10 days to and including 16.05.08
Race 6	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE SCURRY - C4 - 375	BLUE CHIP VIRUS was handy on the bend but was checked and went back to near the rear and stayed there to finish in 7th place. ULTIMATE BURST S.Fagan Rule 64 Suffering from a leg injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 20.05.08. Certificate to be presented and papers endorsed. GONE WILD O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from pad abrasions and stood down for 5 days to and including 12.05.08.
Race 7	MANAWATU SECURITY SERVICES - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH ABEL and SIMON were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground. JULIE'S LADY checked over the heels of PYFO WILLEE and they both lost ground on the home turn.
Race 8	DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C5 - 375	TRENDY MOMENT missed the start by three lengths but recovered to finish well for 3rd place. TIGGERLONG FURY J.Chatfield Rule 64 Suffering from a deltoid injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 16.05.08. FORCE OF REVENGE B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from abrasions and stood down for 5 days to and including 11.05.08.
Race 9	GRANT IRVINE PHARMACY - C1/2 - 457	All clear.
Race 10	WIZARD HOMES LOANS - C3/4 - 457	DOUBLE HAPPY and PATTYS ANSWER collided entering the home straight and both lost ground and they finished in the rear group.
Race 11	BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES SPRINT - C1 - 375	THRILLING TURN was very slow to begin and lost several lengths. KRISSY BALE moved out on the first corner and caused checks to JILL and KID DELANEY who both lost ground and they never recovered and finished at the rear.
