Judicial report: Weather: Showery The starter Mr K Barritt was charged under rule 88.1 o in that he failed to comply with rule 72.10 endorsment concerning the dog SATAN'S PLOT who should have been a box first dog in race eight.
Mr Barritt readily admitted the charge and a $100 00 fine was imposed.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE - C3/4 - 305	As the field raced into the first turn CRYSTAL WENDY came across looking for the rail and BLACK SAL ran up on the heels of CRYSTAL WENDY and was severely checked and went back through the field causing HEALING CRYSTAL to be checked back also and they finished in the last two places.
Race 2	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C3/4 - 305	Soon after the start CATCH CADDY and AGENT VICKI came together for a couple of strides. As the field raced into the first turn HOMEBUSH BASMATI struck trouble and received a slight knock which he never recovred from and finished at the rear. HOMEBUSH BASMATI T McCraken & B Goldsack Spike wound to left front leg rule 82.1. 7 days stand down to and including 8.05.08.
Race 3	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C2/3 - 520	As the field made their way around the first bend WHAT A STORY had to check back off the heels of GROOVY SHOT and ran wide losing ground and finishing at the rear of the field. SUPREME TEDDY F.Kite Now deceased BILLY BAXTER J.McInerney Rule 68 A late scratching due to a spike wound and stood down for 5 days to and including 06.05.08.
Race 4	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4 - 520	Soon after the start FRENCH INVADER and WHISKEY BOY came together for a couple of strides. BAXTERS GENERAL began awkwardy from the outside box causing him to be the slowest away. BIGTIME SID B.Cole A club scratching. ( Placed in wrong race )
Race 5	GUTHRIE BOWRON - C0dq - 645 Heat 1	As the field were racing around the first bend THRILLING SUNNY came out underneath PAUL BAXTER and HONCHO causing them to check back momentarily.
Race 6	GEON WELLINGTON - C0dq - 645 Heat 1	WINSOME DIGNITY (fav) could not get close to the rail from box eight in the early part of the race and covered a bit of extra ground around the first two bends but she was able to find the rail in the latter part of the race and finished just in behind the placegetters.
Race 7	KEENAN CONCRETE - R/A - 520	Racing into the first turn MR SIMPLY got uo on the heels of SALLY BAXTER and SHE'S TOO COOL had to check back and ran wide ,then got up on the heels of SALLY BAXTER as they were on the point of the first bend.
Race 8	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C5 - 520	Soon after leaving the boxes ANOTHER LLOYD came over on to YOUR MY LADY leaning on her for some distance. KINGS CONQUEST who was in behind these dogs got up on the heels of ANOTHER LLOYD and stumbled and took some distance to regain his feet and balance and this incident cost him any chance thereafter. SATAN'S PLOT got away with the field , but after racing into the first turn was noticed to drop back and raced in the rear thereafter and finished in last place. SATAN'S PLOT was sent for a veterinary examination and was found to have a hip support injury requiring a 21 days stand down. Race 9	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	Soon after the start FORCE OF REVENGE came across as PAPAMOA LASS came out off the rail and caused SAVAGE CONQUEST to be checked ,resulting in him moving out onto BIGTIME DORA SAVAGE CONQUEST dropped back after this incident and could not get back into contention thereafter.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C5 - 305	As the field made their way down to the first turn SKADDADLE raced across to the rail and collided with it rather heavily and raced at the rear thereafter. SKADDADLE was sent for a veterinary examination where he was found to have an injury requiring a 10 day stand down. After the field had raced into the first turn SIR KRETION who was up near the lead ran onto BIGTIME RETRO and stumbled and ran out wide costing him any chance thereafter. SKADDADLE P Freeman & A Turnwald has a laceration to inside of hind leg rule 82.1. 10 days stand down to and including 11.05.08.
