Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE - C2 - 305	RAMROD REASON was checked near the first corner and soon after HOMEBUSH TERRA clipped the heels of BIGTIME JULIE and lost ground and they finished in the last two places.
Race 2	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 305	JEOPARDY LANE was the slowest away but recovered to run on well for 3rd place. TAZZYS CHARM was handy to the first corner but was checked and dropped back onto JENNIMORE and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 3	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE CARD and I'M INFECTIOUS were checked and fell on the first corner and PISTOL LARRY and BIGTIME ENCORE were also affected in the incident and lost all chance. I'M INFECTIOUS was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with lacerations and a dew claw injury. CAWBOURNE CARD was examined and cleared of injury. YES MISS Ex Manawatu on 28.04.08 I'M INFECTIOUS D.Little Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered lacerations and a dew claw injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 06.05.08.
Race 4	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C1 - 305	BIGTIME ACTION and CAWBOURNE WAY bumped together for several strides in the race to the first corner and eventually dropped back to near the rear and stayed back to the finish.
Race 5	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 520	RAPPER NEWY began awkwardly and lost ground but then recovered to run on for 4th place. CUPLA SCHILLINGS G.Holswich Rule 68 A late scratching when found to be slightly emaciated and suffering from weight loss and stood down for 14 days to and including 13.05.08.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C0f - 520	NOSH IN SOCKS and MADAM KEISHA bumped together in the first few strides, lost several lengths and stayed back throughout to finish in the last two places.
Race 7	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C2 - 305	BIGTIME LASS moved across from an outside draw and checked GENEROUS THIEF on the first corner. GENEROUS THIEF dropped back and finished in 2nd last place. THRILLING CHANCE McCracken & Goldsack Rule 82 Suffered a tail injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 13.05.08.
Race 8	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520	JACK BOWER was checked and fell on the first corner but was not injured.
Race 9	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHER - C0 - 305	All clear.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 305	WHISPERING HOME was checked on the first corner, lost several lengths and finished in last place. BUGIN THE JUG was handy until rounding the bend where he was galloped on by QUICK LAUGH and lost several lengths and all chance of a placing. THRILLING ELSA B.Hunt Rule 64 Suffering from muscle soreness and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.05.08. ( Vet certificate to be supplied )
