Judicial report: Weather: Fine F.Kite the Trainer of SEDGBROOK GOLD was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms underweight.
A & S Frost the Trainers of JEOPARDY LANE were fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms underweight.
M.Lozell was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 71.4 when he failed to catch a dog as arranged.

Race 1 ALLIED WORK FORCE - C0 - 305 DIMPLE BREEZE and TINY PRANCER were very slow to begin and they then collided on the first corner and DIMPLE BREEZE lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 2 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C0q - 520 Heat 1 The 3rd dog PEACE ICON checked over the heels of BIGTIME GUY on the home turn and ran wide which possibly cost it the chance of finishing in 2nd place.
Race 3 GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C1 - 305 HEY GIRLFRIEND, TUGS TIP and PISTOL LARRY were all checked on the first corner with the last two mentioned falling and HEY GIRLFRIEND losing several lengths and all chance. PISTOL LARRY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a slight back injury. TUGS TIP suffered a hind leg fracture and was euthanased. TUGS TIP S.Maher Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered a hind leg fracture and was euthanased. PISTOL LARRY McCracken & Goldsack Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered a slight back injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 29.04.08.
Race 4 GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C0q - 520 Heat 1 All clear. ELITE FITNESS J.Nixon Rule 64 Suffering from a tricep injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 29.04.08.
Race 5 KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C0f - 305 THRILLING BLAKE, THRILLING NIGHT and NELLIE'S WAY jostled together for several strides in the race to the first corner and NELLIE'S WAY lost several lengths and then made contact with the rail on the bend and finished in last place. She was examined by the Vet and found to have a minor hip abrasion but did not require a stand down.
Race 6 www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 520 The favourite JETLINE received a slight check on the first corner, moved out and forced THRILLING TIFF a little wide on the bend.
Race 7 WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C2 - 305 RAMROD REASON ran out from the start and checked THRILLING MELODY and VOODOO CHARM who both lost a little ground. THRILLING MELODY and PECCARI collided soon after the start and PECCARI lost ground and tailed the field to finish in last place. MISS EILEEN Ex Waikato on 17.04.08. EBONY CYRUS Ex Manawatu on 21.04.08.
Race 8 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520 SEDGEBROOK SKY received a slight check in the first few strides and lost a little ground. HOMEBUSH BOND Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from a tricep strain and stood down for 7 days to and including 28.04.08.
Race 9 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHER - C1 - 305 TYPHOON GRACIE was slow to begin but recovered well to finish in 3rd place. CAB DRIVER and SAMS RENEGADE were both checked and fell on the first corner. They were examined by the Vet and both were cleared of injury.
Race 10 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 305 I'M INFECTIOUS, SWEET TEDDY and THOMAS THE TANK jostled together on the first corner and I'M INFECTIOUS and SWEET TEDDY lost several lengths and finished near the rear. THOMAS THE TANK recovered to finish in 3rd place. STARLIGHT WOODS Ex Manawatu on 21.04.08. HOMEBUSH MAC H.McCracken Rule 64 Suffering from a webbing injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 01.05.08.
