Judicial report: Weather: Fine J.Woolston-Bell the Trainer of STRETCHES was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms overweight.
J.Woolston-Bell the Trainer of RAMROD REASON was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight.
D.Parata the Trainer of MARC A BOOKIE was fined $ 50-00 when presenting the dog 1.4 kilograms overweight.

Race 1	DESTINATION MANAWATU - C1 - 375	PITSTOCK JAZZ jumped on terms with the other runners but soon after dropped out and finished a long distance behind the field. PITSTOCK JAZZ was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and is required to trial under the provisions of Rule 81.1 before his next Totalisator start. PITSTOCK JAZZ J.Elers Rule 81.1 Finished a long last and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 2	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS WANGANUI - C0 - 457	EVA TITU and BIGTIME GUY ran in from the start and checked SNATCH A CRADLE who lost several lengths but then was observed to make up ground to finish in 6th place DRIVING FORWARD ran a little wide on the first turn and forced WEE SHADOW wide over extra ground and they finished in the last two places. CAWBOURNE JULIE A.Trass Rule 64 Suffering from a shoulder muscle injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 08.05.08
Race 3	KEVIN O'CONNER & ASSOCIATES - C1 - 375	GATLIN JEWEL ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished well back.
Race 4	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #16 - HEAT 1 - RESq - 457 Heat 1	FUN AND PROFIT shared the lead to the first corner but was galloped on by BIGTIME ASSASSIN and they both lost ground. FUN AND PROFIT was also checked on the home turn and dropped out to finish in last place. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 5	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C4 - 375	The favourite GONE WILD was handy to the first corner but was checked on the bend, almost fell and lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 6	CHARLIE BOYCE, FOXTON VET - C2 - 375	KNOW WHAT checked off the heels of EBONY CYRUS on the first turn and lost a little ground but recovered to finish a close 2nd. EBONY CYRUS was observed to be sore after the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a toe injury. HUTT PARK LASS O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from an infected nail bed and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.04.08. EBONY CYRUS W.T.Hodgson Rule 82 Galloped on and suffered a toe injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 11.05.08.
Race 7	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #16 - HEAT 2 - RESq - 457 Heat 1	The two favourites THRILLING HUGO and THRILLING MOE were slow away and at the rear on the first corner but ran on well to finish 2nd and 3rd. JIMMY HALL was handy to the first corner but was then tightened and went back to near the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 8	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C2/3 - 375	The favourite THRILLING ISAAC was the slowest away and then checked off the heels of CRYSTAL SAL on the first corner. THRILLING ISAAC then ran up on the rail on the home turn and collided with CAWBOURNE BANDIT and soon after with LUKE SAMMY ZAK and all three lost ground and finished in the last three places.
Race 9	PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL - C2/3 - 375	All clear.
Race 10	RADIOWORKS MANAWATU - C4/5 - 375	BIGTIME DORA was checked and fell on the bend and DARN RIGHT was hindered in the incident and lost a little ground. BIGTIME DORA was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	SULLIVANS DRY CLEANING LTD, LEVIN - C1 - 457	The favourite THRILLING COLE was slow to begin but made ground well until racing onto the heels of ZORRO MAN on the bend and lost ground at that point. STARLIGHT WOODS was handy from the start but was checked on the bend, lost a little ground but then ran on for 3rd place. STARLIGHT WOODS suffered from a cut toe and was stood down for 7 days. STARLIGHT WOODS B.Melville Rule 82 Suffered a cut toe and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.04.08.
Race 12	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C2 - 457	BIGTIME PAUL disputed the lead to the first corner but bumped with PARANOVA and lost several lengths and never recovered, finishing in 2nd last place. BLASTING POINT Ex Wanganui on 16.04.08.
