Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer AJ Schneider was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when KALDEN KAOS weighed in at 31.9 kgs which was 1.4 kgs over its last race weight on 26 March 2008.

Race 1 LIVESPORTSBAR.COM SPRINT - C1 - 318 CREEK DIAMOND ran outwards into the bend coming together with WHERE'S MARK when both dogs were racing towards the rear.
Race 2 HAPPY 75TH MORRIE MOSEN - C2 - 318 LAURETANA BOY ran inwards soon after the jump tightening EDDIE TOMCAT who in turn came into contact with RAJ JAR and CLASSIC BEN. Into the bend RAJ JAR was held up for racing room and lost momentum finishing in seventh place.
Race 3 LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY SPRINT - C1 - 318 THRILLING CHESS and STOLEN THUNDER were both slow to jump and remained well back throughout.
Race 4 THORNTON AUCTIONS R/A FEATURE - R/A - 527 CLOSE COMBAT was slow to jump from the inside making good ground for third. DREAM TRIP (GB Darcy) stood down at Christchurch GRC on 17 April 2008. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 13 May 2008. WATCH THAT WHALE (SC Mann) left gastrocnemius muscle tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 28 April 2008.
Race 5 TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1 The race was all clear but following the event WINSOME STATE appeared to be slightly sore. A post race veterinary check revealed a sprained toe with a fourteen day stand down recommended. This stand down has been rescinded on 24 April 2008 under Rule 82.6. STATELY CONQUEST (SP Clark) dislocated toe. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 28 April 2008.
Race 6 GUADA FIESTA BAR SPRINT - C3 - 318 SUISSA ran very wide into the bend losing ground and finishing well back. MOHICAN HARRY (LJ Laagland) was a late scratching at kennelling with split webbing. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 29 April 2008.
Race 7 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS - C1/2 - 527 THRILLING EVO was very slow to jump. Kennelmates HUCKY HUCK and FERVID came together into the first bend with ASHBOURNE FALCON being forced wide and losing ground as a result.
Race 8 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C4/5 - 527 There was carnage into the first bend when KEROMA ASSASSIN tightened MICRO BENNY which in turn squeezed LOBBY LLOYD on their inside. This resulted in LOBBY LLOYD running outwards and checking KEROMA ASSASSIN badly with LOBBY LLOYD falling. SLINGBACK and EXPRESS RHODE were unable to avoid the melee and lost their chances. Of these dogs EXPRESS RHODE recovered well for fourth, KEROMA ASSASSIN dropped out to seventh and LOBBY LLOYD regained his feet and completed the race. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on LOBBY LLOYD and KEROMA ASSASSIN that revealed no injury to KEROMA ASSASSIN but grazes and a sore neck for LOBBY LLOYD with a seven day stand down recommended. LOBBY LLOYD (DD Schofield) grazes, sore neck and bruised digit. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 26 April 2008.
Race 9 TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 1 STAR CONQUEST was clear in the lead into the bend when he appeared to falter and drop back through the field to finish last. ZENSU was checked as STAR CONQUEST stopped in front of him. A post race veterinary check of STAR CONQUEST revealed a disclocated hock with a thirty day stand down recommended. STAR CONQUEST (DD Schofield) discolated hock. Rule 82.1. 30 days up to and including 19 May 2008.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6 PACK - C4 - 318 FORWARD SOLUTION was dragged down from behind by LADY TANDIA into the bend with both dogs losing ground and finishing well back. FORWARD SOLUTION also took a tumble at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing a laceration and nail injury requiring sutures with a ten day stand down recommended. RYMOR REASON (TA Green) stood down at Waikato and Districts GRC on 17 April 2008. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 7 May 2008. FORWARD SOLUTION (DW Mathews) laceration and nail injury requiring sutures. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 29 April 2008.
